Upbeat, friendly and fascinating people with whom to eat and socialize. Excellent meal variety and quality. Welcoming residents and staff. Nice variety of games, puzzles, exercise and fun activities. Had Carnival themed Happy Hour last weekend. Local excursions planned each month. And have singular hobbies, or prefer watching TV, reading, etc.

We have found our new perfect home. We have been here almost 3 months and love it. Everyone is so friendly both staff and residents. The food is wonderful and the activities keep you busy if you want to be. We have made so many new friends here. We were fortunate to get one of the cottages so it was an easier transition for us and our little dog.

We were told you could use the dining room like a restaurant and eat whenever you wanted! Not true!! Also, the dining room staff would not clean the table for the next person to eat until THEY decided. You could sit down( not all just certain ones) kinda the old hands! Food was tasteless! The appliances in our cottage was so old & worn out you couldn't possibly cook for yourself if you were able!

I had narrowed it down to another community or Country Club. Covered covered parking comes free at Country Club and they didn't charge a monthly fee for [name removed] and it was much more affordable for me.

The staff members are very friendly and anytime we visited they were always so nice, however the cleanliness and meals and dining needs improvements. There are dogs in the community that will use the hallways as their bathroom so it smells disgusting. When it comes to the meals and dining service it was just not good and the residents would have to wait for their meals at least for over an hour. The activities did appear to be nice.

Our loved one has their meals delivered to their room and sometimes the meals are delivered cold or it takes an hour or two so its been a little inconsistent but that is about the really own complaint. Also they have a transportation but you have to reserve it either 24 or 48 hours in advance and sometimes we wish that was just a little more flexible in case something came up last minute.

Our housekeeper is only allowed 30 minutes! That's for 2 toilets, kitchen floor mopped (not swept), and vacuuming of the walk path. It's done weekly if they have enough help.

We love it here at Country Club Woodland Hills. Most of the time the food is great, they are chef prepared meals and we got a big menu with a lot of variety. We have 3 entrees a day plus choice of different veggies and desert. Then they have an anytime menu if you do not want what is being served. The maintenance staff are awesome and get right on things if you need something done. We visited several different places before we chose Country Club and it is by far the best, especially for the money. The apartment sizes are very nice, ours it 980 square feet and we have a full sized kitchen as well. We could not be any happier and would highly recommend this facility to others.

It's a good facility. My father in law lives in one of the cottages and the maintenance isn't real great on it. The gutters needs replaced. He likes the activities and exercise class, bridge and goes on outings. He doesn't care for the food. That seems to be the main issue.

i toured this community and thought the food was good and the people were friendly. we chose another community because Country Club is located in a busy congested residential area, which could have caused some difficulty getting in and out while driving.
This seems like a very nice place and everyone seems happy that lives here. Everyone seems to enjoy being here and like they are happy. The staff are very helpful and kind and have always just been agreeable about helping and doing things. A great group of people that we have met so far.

My mom really likes living in this community. She has enjoyed the activities and she is not too crazy about the food. Sometimes it can take a really long time to be served. They have activities like bingo, bridge and there is something for them to do everyday to stay busy in the community.

The location of Country Club is fabulous it is right by the mall and groceries stores. It is about a 1 mile radius for seniors who do not want to do a lot of driving. The building itself is very nice and it has a really nice swimming pool. The food is good, the people are fabulous and we would give it 10/10 stars. We could not be more pleased.

They seem to handle mom pretty well. She likes her apartment and does visit with people in the community. She will get more value out of it when Covid becomes less of a threat. Rides to the Doctor and grocery are very helpful as are the meals.

This community was very nice but it was a little overwhelming. It was too big and I knew that getting around would be to much for my loved one. It was geared more towards totally independent living and if you had to get into assisted it was on a different floor and didn't want my love one to have to move.
My loved one loved this facility and she was going to be able to have her pet with her. This community was independent and did not have any assisted living. My loved one just needed more assistance than they provided. Everyone here was great.

A Place for Mom has scored Country Club At Woodland Hills 8.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
