Food is not fit to eat. It is not made fit to eat for us older residence The dining room is very noisy and very hard to carry on conversations. Room should to painted with no glare paint. Repairs are not done where needed. My sliding door had been broken into and the repaires were not made for this cold weather. Cold air comes around the door and the windows.. I understood that there would be a new glass sliding door would be installed before I moved in. I paid for two months before I moved it so they had lots of time to do the job right. This could be a wonderfull place to live if a little more effort was put in

[Name removed] the general manager, is extremely verbally abusive to the residents, to the point that the residents don't want to report him due to retaliation, and the owner KNOWS about this but hasn't done anything about it. My parent has expressed extreme concerns to me about his behavior, as well as asking some of the other residents that have confirmed this behavior. This behavior is NOT ok. These residents are not children, they are fully grown adults that deserve respect. I will be reporting them to Adult Social Services, and believe me, I will keep it up until something changes.

Our deciding factor was just the people living there, when we went to tour the community all the residents we spoke to said they loved it there and that it felt homey and like family. She is having a great experience, she is comfortable there and making a lot of new friends. The experience is better then what we could have expected, there are a lot of great people working there that are all very kind and helpful.

Cottonwood Cove Retirement Community is very nice place. The staff is very friendly and caring. They check on us every morning and night. They are always available for any assistance if needed. They are trying very hard right now to make the make the grounds look more presentable outside. The food is delicious, I go to the dinners almost every night where they offer a wide variety of choices that I like. Refreshments and snacks are provided for the residents during the day. There are different activities lined up for each day. Today is an exercise class, Bingo, birthday celebrations, and some musical entertainment. They definitely provide plenty to do filling my days with more than I can possibly take in. There are nice sidewalks to take walks. Cottonwood Cove is very affordable for me and I'm really enjoying myself.

My wife and I recently moved to Cottonwood Cove and it has been just wonderful so far. It isn't an Assisted Living Community although the staff still take the time to check on us residents daily. The food is great and included in our rent and the staff are amazing. There's lots of activities which keep us busy and I couldn't be happier.

A Place for Mom has scored Cottonwood Cove Retirement Community 3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
