I recommend Cordata Court- it's been great for my mother-in-law. The staff is helpful and kind (although there have been a few changeovers with Director and Recreation Director). Housekeeping could be a bit better. My 98 (almost 99!) year old mom-in-law had to show the young staffer how to make her bed. Communication with the family hasn't always been very often. My mom-in-law has had to seek someone out for answers to her inquiries. (But she is very proactive that way and uses minimal amount of care/support there). The meals are either too much food or not very good. They're adequate and healthy, but we invite mom over to our house to give her a more interesting meal and leftovers to take home. The scheduled activities and availability of the facility bus for appointments and errands is a real plus.... Read more

People seem to enjoy the variety of tasty meals in the dining room . There are lots of activities including movies, group stretching, weekly outings, etc. Opportunities to play cards, etc. Residents are friendly and staff is caring and attentive. The library usually has 3 or 4 people reading.

Cordata Court generates a joyful atmosphere for loved ones. It's clean, offers activities, transportation and nice sized rooms. My sibling uses a wheel chair, she has laminate flooring, hallways are wide and elevators serve her well. The staff is friendly

October 13, 2023Thank you for your positive feedback about Cordata Court! We are delighted to hear that your loved one is experiencing a joyful atmosphere in our community. Maintaining cleanliness and providing a variety of activities, along with accessible facilities, are our priorities. We understand the importance of ease of mobility, and we're pleased to know that our wide hallways, laminate flooring, and well-functioning elevators have been helpful for your sibling. Our friendly staff is dedicated to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable living experience for all residents.
We picked this community, because It was well rated, a good location for my parents and had activities that appealed to my folks although they said they had gardens for residents and that has not proven true as yet. Disappointed because this was a selling point for my loved one.

March 1, 2023Hello, Linda, thank you for your wonderful feedback about our community. We would like to speak with you about the gardens in more detail. Please email Executive Director, Patricia, at ppwhite@pegasusseniorliving.com at your earliest convenience. We look forward to hearing from you.
This facility is very bright and clean. The staff is wonderful and knows the residents and their family members by name. My loved one feels comfortable here and it's starting to feel like home for her. Housekeeping is done once a week and they do a good job. Communication with the family has been pretty good. It would be nice to have a little bit more communication from the staff, but it's getting better. I'd also like to have direct contact names/phone numbers that we could reach out to if needed. They have a new Activities Director and things are improving with those. The food was okay, but it's improving also. The new Activities Director has organized a little group that they call "Chef's Table." It's a group where the residents can voice their input and suggestions on the Meals and Dining. It's been great and very helpful! The staff is really listening to what the residents have to say and changes are being made. I would recommend this facility to friends and family.

Since my first day, [date removed] I have been overwhelmed by the kind and respectful service the Cordata Court Assisted Living facility in Bellingham, WA. has performed. From daily medication to apartment cleaning all performed professionally and with respect. The food service is excellent, hot coffee, cold milk and courteous service. You will enjoy our family!

October 19, 2022Thank you for your kind review, Brad! It lifts our spirits to know you think very highly of our community.
Make sure you get your care plan in place, with specifics, on a written copy right away, and then update it every three months. The problem is there's no director or head nurse right now. Things were fine before that. But the head staff keeps changing. The everyday care staff are wonderful. They're all great, it's just the administration that's the issue. My loved one loves the food, and the facility itself and rooms are very nice. They have really nice tall and low windows which are great to sit beside and look outside. Other places don't have that, and the windows alone were worth moving our loved one there.

We toured this community and found it to be as close to home as possible. We ate lunch (it was amazing) and the kitchen manager came out to greet us and answer all our questions. We spoke to the Executive director who was warm and very inviting. We spoke with the Nurse and she detailed all the services that would be needed. We met with a lot of care staff and found them to be genuinely invested in the residents they were caring for. There were activities going on during our visit and so much laughter coming from that room. Because of this surprise walk in visit we made the choice then and there the bring mom and dad to their new home. We have been extremely satisfied and content with our choice. Thank you Cordata for all you do.

March 20, 2023Nancy, what a review! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such kind feedback about our community. It truly is a vibrant place full of love and laughter. Please let us know if we can do anything else for you or your family.
I, unfortunately, feel the need to keep this review anonymous for concern about a relative who is currently residing there, and has been there for about 3 years. Initially it was an excellent experience, and matched closely to what was explained on our tour of the facilities. It's why our family chose it. It is not inexpensive, but we care deeply about the quality of life and are invested in the community. When Pegasus took over, quality immediately plummeted. Caregivers are quitting and whistle-blowing state agencies, the food has become atrociously bad, and the staff seem abused by a tyrannical director who seems focused on the bottom line only. Attention to paperwork is slipping, which puts at risk care-provision insurance benefits. Our family is beginning the process of pushing state regulators to intervene in the situation. Though I feel very badly for the dedicated staff who have hung on, I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility.

Things seem to be going pretty well here. The food is good and it seems to be well balanced and nutritious. They have quite a menu, so if you can’t find something to eat then there must be something wrong because they have tons of options. There are more things going on here than I can keep track of but just to name a few they have movies, happy hours, and even a harmonica club that I’m the leader of. There’s plenty to do if one wants to do it. As far as I’m concerned, the cleanliness seems to be good. They offer apartments as well as cottages, which seem to be cheaper than the apartments. I’m just overall satisfied with where I’m at. They’ve really done a good job with trying to take care of me and my wife.

This property is great. I think that the staff team here is fairly competent and knowledgeable. For the most part it’s been a positive situation. My loved one residing there is not a big fan of the food. She most prefers to cook for herself. The cleanliness is good and there’s no bad odor in the facility. There is also lots of activities provided for the residents. There’s about maybe six to seven things happening every day such as knitting, movies, drives in the country, and days at the casino. I would recommend this property to families looking into options for their loved ones.

I toured this facility because they have a really good reputation and they have wonderful customer service. It was a smaller community but very established. All of the staff members are very friendly and they always want to help. While on the tour I was able to speak with the nursing staff and they were also very nice. The facility itself was very clean and everyone I came into contact with was lovely. But, nothing really stood out for me. I was visiting during meal time and I got to see everyone in the dining hall. It was way too quiet for the number of people in that room. No one was talking even though they had people around them. I would recommend this community, but it just wasn’t for my Husband.

For our family we thought this community was too far for us. It didn't meet the needs for a move-in. It is suitable for a family with different needs.

I would recommend that everyone get things in writing. There seems to be a lot of additional charges for care and they are expensive. I will say the facility is nice and the people are very kind and patient towards my mother.

My uncle had a little bit of a tough transition into this community, but he is now in the memory care unit and I could not be more pleased with how amazing all of the staff have been to him. It is a smaller unit so there is lots of one on one time and lots of trust building exercises that they get to work on multiple times a week. The only complaint I have is the staff did not seem ready or organized with things when he moved in especially in his bedroom. That made things a little difficult for him to get adjusted.
