Cogir of Fremont Senior Living

My mom has had a great experience at Cogir. The staff’s caring and attentive and the activities are just enough. The community has rules that reinforce inclusiveness and belonging which is critical for a new resident. It was a good decision. She loves her 1 bedroom apt with a deck - lots of light and very quiet and private.

The staff at Cogir are amazing. My mother suffers from early stages of dementia. It has been very difficult navigating her care and safety. They have been helpful from the moment I first walked into their community, getting her settled, and they continue to be supportive even now. My mother is in California and I am in Florida, yet Cogir staffers are always just a phone call, text and email away. The facility is very well maintained and there is always plenty of activities offered daily. With my mother's condition there are always eyes on her as she moves about the community, which allows her to still be independent but safe at the same time. My mind is at ease that my mother is well cared for and fed properly. I get updates and they send pictures of my mother enjoying her new friends and activities. The food is excellent and there is a wide variety. I would strongly recommend Cogir Senior Living Community to anyone looking for their aging parent(s),and not just to seniors that need assistance! OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY AND STAFF!

The people here a very nice. Everybody here both the staff and the residents. This is from my heart I love it here and that’s why I stay. The food is not bad. There are lots of Mandarin speakers now. I enjoy the activities especially the exercise.

Cogir of Fremont has given me back a positive lifestyle. They treat us like royalty. All of the staff are loving and caring about the residents. The become friends with us. We are not just a senior community, we are a large extended family. The greatest perks are not having to change our bed linens, housekeeping once a week, if something breaks they take care of it, and one of the biggest is we don't have to cook. We have a variety of foods available three meals a day. There are activities available that will keep anyone busy. From exercise programs, crafts, card games, bingo. You name it, we have it. Overall, Cogir is the friendliest senior community around. Moving here was the best thing I have done for myself!

Friendly people and friendly staff. Great food. I enjoy the activities. Cogir of Fremont is very dog friendly. Dining room is beautiful and they make wonderful soups. The chef is very knowledge about food.

The staff over here is very kind and efficient they do all the work properly and very much friendly residents , and the staff is kind and friendly. I like the exercise classes and shopping trips and we enjoy cocktail and conversation , that keeps the community together like family

I like the friendly nature of staff and residents they have a good connection with us , I like this community is cleaned , I like the food and the cleanliness in dining is great. Everything is nice .

I came to visit many times before moving in and met a lot of people. It’s a very rewarding experience. I’ve been living here now five months and used to come and sing at the community with our choir. I have referred this community to my friends and several are looking at moving in.

I've lived her two years and I love it. The staff is all so friendly and accommodating. I like all the activities especially the exercise classes and the outings. The monthly lunches where we go out and the trips to the symphony and especially the Christmas programs. We also have entertainers than come to the community and play music. I have no complaints!

I have lived here nine years and it has been a wonderful experience. It has changed hands once and we are seeing beautiful things in the renovation and programming and direction. We have Town Hall meetings and activities. I teach a watercolor class and my apartment is beautiful and overlooks a willow tree. It’s a great place to make friends. I recommend it highly.

I really like living at Cogir. They provide so many different services and activities, I can’t even join them all! Almost everything I have to say about Cogir is positive. However, I have noticed that with the recent increase in tenants, the number of servers and staff seems to be lacking. Besides that, living at Cogir has been such a great and comfortable experience.

I will give Cogir all 5's. The staff and people that live here are friendly and caring to most everyone.

This place has good location , very nice friendly employee here . I have lived here for 6 months . I don’t have any plans to move out. I got no problem from past 6 months I am living here. I will recommend other people to live here

Been here 14 years and recommend this environment as a safe and friendly place. Management, service, marketing are always available for any of our needs and I recommend this place for anybody that’s looking for a new home!

The team and Cogir of Fremont is like a big family. They are wonderful to me. I have lived her a little over a year and honestly can’t find anything wrong. Highly recommended! Menu can be improved just a little bit on the Chinese food but overall great. Staff is so great!

When a friend shared her experience touring Cogir for her parents, I knew I needed to do the same for my 86-year-old mom. She had been living with me but was slowly becoming more isolated, spending her days alone in her room watching TV. I wanted more for her, so I booked a tour with Cogir. I was hesitant at first, worried that my mom wouldn’t want to move, but when I brought her to a Car Show and Open House at Cogir, everything changed. We enjoyed the event, toured the facility, and I was immediately impressed. The environment was lively, the residents were happy, and the staff was so warm and welcoming. I had the opportunity to visit this community with my father during their classic car show on [date removed], and it was so much fun! They had an outdoor BBQ with burgers and dogs which were delicious, and a line of classic cars, mostly from the 50's. The main building seemed very well taken care of and clean. We talked to many of the residents who seemed very eager to chat and all very pleasant. Based off this experience, we are strongly considering this community for dad. I believe he would be very happy there and be able to make many friends. The good food was a plus!

My parents recently moved to Cogir Of Fremont and they couldn't be happier with their decision! They've thoroughly enjoyed their stay so far, taking advantage of the daily activities and events that the community offers. From exercise classes to social gatherings, they've found something new to look forward to every day. The restaurant-style dining has also been a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious meals to choose from. The staff has been friendly and accommodating, making them feel right at home. Cogir Fremont is very nice community for Chinese residents. There are many of us that speak Cantonese together so feels like home in Hong Kong. Food is good, but could do more Chinese traditional cooking. I do see chef makes her own dumplings. Very nice, but we do want more dishes like mapo tofu, spicy eggplant, Chinese broccoli We have a Mah Jong group that plays, I have a good time there and I make many friends. Staff is very friendly and the director helped me move my apartment to a newly renovated one. I appreciate this consideration. There is an activities team member that speaks Cantonese as well, she is very helpful. Thanks

I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at Cogir of Fremont, especially the Activities Director. She goes out of her way to make sure all the residents are happy. She made the Olympics so enjoyable for everyone. I haven't had so much fun in years! We didn't want it to end.
