It has taken Mom a while to adjust but no major issues with the facility. Since she is independent she has not required any real assistance but activities available are good. Mom doesn't eat dinner but enjoys breakfast and lunch, and dines on cereal and milk in the evenings. She can retrieve these items from the facilities pantry. She participates with a church women's group and book club and field trips. I think the value for the independent costs are very much within a reasonable amount. A quiet but involved staff and community for any independent senior. I would not at this time be able to comment on assisted living... Read more

There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in. I have been very impressed with the variety of activities. The first week my loved one was in the community was so happy to have so many activities to choose from. The staff are very kind and caring to the residents. My loved one enjoys the meals, and finds it to be very tasty. There are menus for the residents to order from. They have snacks in the billiards room. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. This is a great community for all types of care.

My father has lived in the independent living section, assisted living and is now moving to the long term care section. I have spent a good deal of time there and am so impressed with the staff, cleanliness of the facility, and the food! Both the residents and staff are so friendly and caring. I have eaten there multiple times and the food (order off the menu) is excellent! I would recommend Presbyterian to anyone who is need of this service or has a loved one with this need.

My father’s recovery at The Clinton Presbyterian Community has been exceptional at every stage of care. PT and OT were completed at the skilled nursing wing in 6 weeks. He now lives in a light assisted living scenario. The facility itself is superb with more of a college campus dorm feel rather than a home for ‘The Aged’. An avid walker, dad often walks up to 2 miles a day. Many living modes and options are available, including efficiencies, multi-bedroom apartments, town homes and even up three bedroom single family homes on campus. Culinary options are excellent, including ‘801 Café’. The ambiance of the facility communicates a strong sense of history and establishment with striking architecture. There is a elegant library, post office, gym, break out rooms for study and plenty of relaxation options for the active residents. The chapel is beautiful and comes with a full time chaplain. The very best option I am aware of in SC.

Our mother had lived in one home her entire adult life, so my sister and I were concerned over her transition. The welcome was so thorough and warm from the staff and other residents, that only one of us could set up her room while the other escorted her during the tour and incredible, sweet welcome. Clinton Presbyterian Community is GEM! My sister stated she did not know a place like this existed.

My Mother moved into Assisted Living at Presbyterian Communities Clinton at age 88. She was, generally, good health but failing memory. Over the 5 plus years she was a resident there, she was well cared for, happy and comfortable. The nursing staff, the case workers and the activities staff were so professional, caring and thoughtful. As her memory became more of an issue, she moved into Health Care for skilled nursing. As a retired nurse, she enjoyed sitting with the nurses and talking and often thought she was working. The care, attention, warmth and love she received was remarkable. During this period she broke her hip, had gastro surgery and dealt with Covid 19. With wonderful care she recovered from each of these issues. This was a perfect place for her and my brother and I could rest comfortably knowing that she was well cared for at Presbyterian Communities.
