Cliff View Terrace

My loved one has passed away last year. But she was in a great location and facility at the end. Based on the experience we had with Cliff View Terrace we would 100% recommend this community to other families.

The care home is an immaculate, beautiful facility and the staff is very professional and many of them have been there since the 80s. Our family is so happy with the great care there. Also, as I understand it, it's the only care home in Santa Barbara that has a physician on staff and he's board certified in geriatrics.

My husband was very ill when I brought him to Cliff Terrace. He was nursed back to health by a competent, compassionate, professional staff. I will never be able to express my gratitude to the staff of Cliff View for helping my husband and for allowing me to rest easy knowing he was well taken care of.

I am so grateful to everyone at Cliff View Terrace. They have shown my grandma, who has dementia, so much kindness and patience. And all the activities they have available really encourage her to participate.

Cliff View Terrace is an exceptional assisted living community! Each and every caregiver is not only experienced in their field but also attentive, caring, compassionate, and professional. We have had the most wonderful experience with, and grateful for, the entire staff as they have cared for both my mother and father. The staff, from the onsite Dr. to administration and care assistance, could not have been better. All were highly compassionate, caring, and efficient. They did everything possible to ensure my mom's stay was comfortable and safe. Also, they were super helpful to my family. The facility is spotless and well-kept. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We could not be happier with the staff and accomodations at Cliff View Terrace. Everyone is friendly, helpful and so compassionate. They are responisive and alert to the resident's needs and offer encouragement and interaction. We are confident in the care mom is getting and can be at ease knowing she is safe and happy. The faciility and grounds are clean, bright and beautiful.

Cliff View Terrace has been a Godsend in the difficult transition to assisted living. My mother is well looked after and safe here. She enjoys the activities provided by very caring staf. Visiting here is a pleasure.

my father seems very happy. He listens to live music, catches the latest game on the flatscreen and participate in exercise. We visit often in the facility and the grounds are always top notch. When anybody in the Santa Barbara area asks me, I told him quit for you is a good choice.

The Staff is very attentive to my questions & concerns. It would be nice if there was some kind of clergy services or mental health counseling available. I am not sure if a weekly menu is provided to the residents. The facility is always clean & nicely decorated. I truly enjoy receiving pictures of my Dad on holidays & special occasions. Thank you

Cliff Terrace was the perfect place to move my father in law from a much larger skilled nursing facility. The size is a better fit - it is a much smaller facility and it is more affordable for him as he doesn't require all the skilled nursing care. It it extremely clean and well run and he gets the attention he needs. We are extremely happy with Cliff Terrace and so is he.

Although on Cliff Drive, Cliff View Terrace is nicely tucked back, very private, and very quiet. The staff is top notch. You truly feel like you are at someone’s home. So congenial so accommodating. I am very happy to have my mother here. We have been to two other facilities in Santa Barbara. They were both nice, but do not compare in my opinion to Cliff View Terrace. Thanks to [name removed]and the rest of the staff that really care for my mom and the other residence.

My father is a resident here and he is well cared for by the attentive staff. The manager, [name removed], contacts me if ever there is any cause for concern and she personally attends doctor appointments over zoom with my father. I've been very grateful for her incredible responsiveness to any question or concern that I've had from the time he arrived. Many care facilities have extremely high turnover rates in staff, which can be frustrating when seeking consistent care for a loved one. At Cliff View, I've dealt with the same staff for over a year now, from billing to management. That is a rarity I know, as my father has lived in several other care facilities previously. Over the last two years with the Covid pandemic in full swing, I've been very impressed with their prompt handling of shots and boosters for the residents and their ability to keep residents and visitors safe by adhering strictly to safety measures.

I would like to share our experience with Cliff View Terrance assisted living facility, especially for those starting out to address the needs of someone they love. I moved my mother to Cliff View Terrance a couple of months ago. Anyone who has started down this path knows, good places are hard to find, and wait lists are long. We looked at many long term care places for my mother and honestly were very lucky that Cliff View Terrace was one of the facilities we saw. We looked at small convereted houses with few patients and a small staff to larger facilities. Cliff View Terrace stood out right away. The facility is absolutely beautiful and I cannot say enough good things about the increadible staff. They all have big hearts and endless patience. A doctor is frequently present and can adjust medications as needed. The meals are great, and the programs offered, music, exercise, crafts, etc. remind me of a cruse ship. We feel very fortunate to have my mother here.

I’m a healthcare professional for over 25 years and worked in a skilled nursing most of my nursing career. I transferred a number of patients to Cliff View Terrace over the years and I personally visited the place. Cliff View Terrace has excellent and knowledgeable staff. Very friendly and would go beyond and above to accommodate residents need. Comfort and safety are the staff priorities for their residents. Residents appear very happy and well groomed.
