They're amazing! Everything has been very positive. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are lovely. The cost is very reasonable compared to other privately owned places. If Covid hadn't been in place, it would have been even more fun. We could have visited whenever we wanted and gone in to have lunch with our loved one. Those were things you could do beforehand. But things are starting to get better again. We can remove our masks in her room, and we don't have to make an appointment anymore to visit. Overall it's just a wonderful place. My family member had a medical issue and they wouldn't allow her back there to live. The staff was not very nice to her and some of her things were stolen. I would definitely recommend "A Place For Mom" to others. You all have been great! In fact, that is how I found [community removed]. I highly recommend [community removed]. They went above and beyond to help my mother. I went through your service. I thought it was a good fit at the time.

A Place for Mom has scored Chenango Valley Home 6.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
