We chose Chalmers Lodge at the time because it was assisted living which is what we needed, also we appreciated that it is a non profit organization that was started by a church. They check on him 4 times a night and throughout the day. The room sizes here are pretty small, but they are adequate for the needs. They have been sending newsletters so they have been good at keeping us updated on what is happening inside the facility. They do not always keep me up top date very well with my dad so they could improve on that. The overall building feels a little tired and could use some updates such as the lounge areas and the patios. It has still been a good experience and I would recommend to others looking

Very professional but rooms are a bit small for couples. Also communication could be an issue as my parents speaks very English.

[Name removed] gave us a great tour, the view from the high floors is great. Bus routes are very close by and meals look good too. Location is close to downtown, street parking takes a bit time to find, but OK.
