The staff here made the transition of moving my Mom here as seamless as possible. They are such caring people and have made us worry so much less. The facility is always kept clean and we love it here. The level of care that they give my Mom is top notch and we are very pleased.

My mom moved into Cecil House in Sept. 2015. She was a real challenge at first. They did not give up on her. Mom isn't the easiest person to live with cause dad spoiled her something terrible. Then he left us to take over where he had left off. NOT an easy job. However these lovely people have worked hard this past month to make her feel welcomed. She had some ups and downs but I feel she has become very comfortable with them and I might even go so far as to suggest she is beginning to love Dominique and her gentle spirit. She is pretty funny too. Mom also loves her cooking and so do I! I feel she has become a good roommate to her little friend Miss Betty. I hope mom continues to thrive here until I am able to become a bigger part in her life after I retire.

They are warm and friendly people. The food is good and the care is wonderful. There is a limitation on activities, so it is important to have a good fit with the client.

We placed our parents in Cecil's Boarding House almost three weeks ago and we could not be happier. The care they are receiving is everything that we hoped for. The difficult transition for our parents who were very resistant to leaving their home has been exceptional. This is all due to the excellent staff. My brother and I know that now they are both receiving their proper medication on time as well as everything else they need. Quite honestly Cecil Boarding House has been a Godsend.

I have been pretty well pleased. They have good communication, they call me and let me know what is going on with her. They take her to doctors appointments and out to eat, and it feels like a family not like she is stuck in a nursing home. It's real clean, no dirty dishes, no stuff on the floor, no dust. The other women are very happy there. The price is very reasonable. They try to personalize the menu and find out what kind of food they like to eat.

My mama was at Cecil House from October of 2011 until she suddenly died February of 2012. I cannot think of a better place for her to have spent her last remaining months at. She was loved and WELL TAKEN CARE. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Mama loved it! She loved her roomie too! Knowing she was loved was such a blessing to me and for her. Domonique and Wesley are some of the most caring and compassionate people I know. They fed her, sometimes provided entertainment, gave her her meds on time and was ALWAYS there for her, 24 hours a day. My mama and I developed a more loving, caring and touching relationship and for that, I feel so truly blessed. Thank you Domonique and Wesley, I love you both! ,

Ms. Leutiuc was very helpful and courteous. Place was nice and this is a top contenter...only downfall was on opposite side of town and not so sure my mother will want to leave 'her' area. Best price and furniture was included.

Share room with a lady; they drive her, laundry, meals, manage MEDS $1200/month -- no medicaid but will help her to stay after $ out
