I so very much wanted to love this place. My father was there for 2 months in 2018. The staff was caring and knowledgeable. Each resident even had a Christmas stocking on the wall. He was able to go outside on the comfortable patio furniture to read and it seemed like a wonderful place. Alas, it was a honeymoon period. The residents were not allowed to sit in the front room, the bathrooms were incredibly and consistently dirty, meds were not given, the christmas stockings were never given to residents and indeed Christmas was not acknowledged for the residents. It was all for show. My father rapidly declined in cognitive function and health. Upon doctor advice we removed him. He was shoeless, no slippers and his room floor was dirty. Some of his clothes were not to be found. His air cushion was never returned. There was no follow up by the owner. Though dementia does not go away, he became stronger, more cognitively aware and less agitated when he was removed from the home. Family was there visiting every day so the downhill slide was apparent. Just sad.

Five years ago my husband was a resident of of Casa Dora in Chandler. He passed away and they were to refund the $1500 which was remaining for overpayment. I attempted many times to collect this amount and reported them to the state agency which oversees such things. They said that there were numerous complaints of this type and could not help me except to relay the information when asked. THey were rude and disgusting and threatened me with a law suit if I persisted; I decided to drop the mater as it was just too stressful for me. Hiscare was good but the business is terrible.....Don't use them to care for a loved one Check with the licensing agencies about them

My father was a resident of Casadora Manor from 11/12/2012 to his death 11/21/2014. According to Casadora's contract; refund of residents monthly fee will be prorated to the day upon death of the resident. The refund owed to my Mother is $1050.00. We have called and sent letters numerous times with no response. They have not had the common courtesy to talk to us. It has been 8 month. I would not recommend the Casadora.
