Caring Well at Aquarius

Everything is amazing. 5 all across the board. The staff is very knowledgeable of Alzheimer's/dementia and how to care for patients accordingly while also being very personable. The neighborhood is lovely. The garden out back is beautiful and well-maintained. The food they prepare for the residents is good quality, homemade food and not frozen or "fake" with healthy portions; they also accommodate any dietary needs or restrictions. They have their own healthcare providers that regularly tend to the patients (podiatrist, nurse, etc). There's a long list but Caring Well is absolutely wonderful and the woman who runs both locations, [name removed], is an absolute saint. She's really great and has done a phenomenal job

We picked this community, because I spoke with someone initially, and they said they had somewhere in mind that would work for us and they would contact them. The next person called back in less than 30 minutes.They are very caring, and aware of stress-difficulties families are facing,trying to find care for their loved ones.

Good value for the money. Responsible owner with good oversight for safety and overall care. However, don't expect planned activities or exercise.

My father had Dementia and it became difficult for mom to care for him at home in his final months. We were fortunate to find Caring Well in Silver Spring, MD through A Place for Mom. [name removed] and [name removed] provided dad's primary care and they were wonderful. They communicated often with us and were always on top of his care. We went to the home almost daily to visit dad and we always felt comfortable there. The home is spotless and easy to navigate as it's one level living.

The community and staff were wonderful for my loved one and family during my loved one's transition. The staff and hospice worked well together to assist with my loved one's care.

This facility offers excellent patient / staff ratios. The facility provides a caring staff in a home setting. Patients receive excellent healthcare, personal care and assist your loved one the way you would want to be treated. Patients are encouraged to participate in normal daily activities including being out of bed for meals, activities, to watch tv, or communicate with other residents and staff. I wish we had found this facility first. After a couple of false starts at other facilities this assisted living home is fantastic. I really can't say enough about this facility.

Our families first impression of Caring Well at Aquarius community was that it seemed very warm, inviting and welcoming. The people seemed really friendly and everything seemed very positive.

The staff members would be a 10 plus, the owner there just went above and beyond. They were all amazing, they took great care of our loved one and our family. Her staff was so caring and so kind. It was such a good experience. They made sure to bring things our loved all the food he enjoyed. The value was absolutely awesome. he was getting good care and we were so comfortable with him being there. It was the best place for him.
