Moving into a senior living community doesn’t have to mean leaving behind a comfy home. At Buena Creek Residential Care in Vista California, just a handful of residents live together in a family-like setting with the support of attentive caregivers.
This care home with Mission-style architecture, including a Spanish tile roof, and a spacious backyard is located in a residential neighborhood on a dead-end street. Several popular retailers, a grocery store, restaurants, and medical offices are within a quick and easy drive.
The city of Vista’s Gloria McClellan Senior Center, offering classes, clubs, and lunches, is only 3 miles away.
The care home offers a wide variety of services you might expect in a larger senior living community with a high staff-to-resident ratio. Health care services include memory care, diabetic care, incontinence care, ambulatory care, and medication management. A doctor, nurse, podiatrist, and several types of therapies can be made available to your loved one.
Meals are provided, including sugar-free and low-sodium options, in the dining room, and residents can gather in other common areas, whether it’s around the fireplace or outside on the patio. Other services include laundry, housekeeping, assistance with activities of daily living, and grocery...

I looked at 9 places for my father who suffers from dementia. I could no longer take care of him day and night, so I contacted A Place For Mom. They are a wonderful and incredibly helpful resource. Natalie helped me find places close to my price range and a desire for caring people. Buena Creek Residential Care was the second place I looked at. While I looked at seven more, I didn't find any that we're close to the small and nurturing atmosphere that Buena Creek provides. It's a real home so my father immediately felt comfortable with the five other residents. The staff is amazing; they are all incredibly loving and caring. I feel so lucky to have found Buena Creek with the help of Natalie at a place for Mom.
