Brookdale Waterview Court

YES 10 out of 10!!! It is a WONDERFUL PLACE!! It is the perfect fit for our loved one TRULY A BIG FAMILY PLACE!! You walk in and can feel that they care for everyone living there. STAFF is very important for that to happen and they have done well with their STAFF!! They have a lady name Tammy that is off the charts loving and caring. I do a lot of visiting with everyone and the reviews are GREAT from residents that have been there many years!! The place ALWAYS smells good and is CLEAN!! Again it is all about finding a loving and caring staff and THEY HAVE IT!!

Its ok . There are better and there are worst places. My loved one liked the look of the place and at the time they had a chef that cooked so good but they got rid of him. And the current cook doesn't take pride in the food.

I like having a very good hair dresser at the end of my hall. I like that we have an administrator who is approachable and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this community to other families

We went with Brookdale because of all of the reasons above. For my mom the 3 main things she needed was a wheelchair accessible bathroom, meal preparations which they do and they do a wonderful job with, and she also needed someone to assist her with laundry and they provide those amenities there for her. They have transportation into the community as well. It is independent living, but they offer a lot of great amenities. Everything is included in a great price that she is able to handle. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Waterview Court and already have. Another big plus is that it is in a great location that is by a lot of doctors offices and major hospitals as well. All of her appointments are very close by.

It's a nice place to live. I like it here. The staff is very good. The food is actually really good. And they have a lot of activities. I have a smaller apartment, but that's my choice. They've been really good with maintenance and upkeep.

The dining service is 4 out of 5, but the meals are about a 2 - it is just not very consistent and the food needs a little improvements. They have a bus service that takes them out to shop, go to the casino, and the grocery store. This community just has a really comfortable feeling to it.

We chose Waterview Court because my brother was impressed with it. It is very nice, he has a big, roomy studio apartment and is happy with it. I would tell others to make sure to understand that they say there is a medical professional on staff here, but she does not do much. Overall, so far it has been a good experience and I would recommend as long as you can take care of yourself.

My visit was superb. We signed an agreement a few days later and my dad moved in.

I really liked this facility. It was very well decorated and super clean. They had only upstairs rooms at this time.

My mother loves it here! The staff was wonderful from the initial meeting and now. Would highly recommend.

I toured waterview because I had an urgent need to place both my father and my sister, and they needed to be placed together. Waterview is a facility that has been around for a while, but it has stayed well-kept and beautifully designed. The location is excellent with proximity to two major hospitals, doctors’ offices, banking, and shopping. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. [Removed], the manager has been super helpful with paperwork and any questions we’ve had. I also adore the fact that they have a nighttime security guard who constantly walks the community. If any resident were to activate the call system, the guard calls paramedics and reports to the scene within seconds. There are so many activities including exercise classes, game nights, and bible studies. The Shreveport Library also manages the library at the community. The food here is also good. They just hired a new kitchen person, and my dad is very impressed with how the new cook has been coming around to the tables and introducing himself to everyone in the dining room. There is excellent variety in the food options at every meal, and the room is spacious, clean, and well decorated. There is also a private second dining room that can be reserved for parties, so my sister is excited to celebrate her birthday there. Waterview is an excellent place. It truly has a community feeling. It’s like a family. All the people are so welcoming, and I feel it is truly worth anyone’s time to check it out.

Today is my mom's 98th Birthday and the chef ask her what she would like for dinner and he is going to prepare her a special shrimp Birthday dinner, One of the main reason I choose this community is for their larger apt sizes. Both my parents are doing well here the staff is very friendly and feel this was a nice fit for them.

Everything is going fine for my mom and the staff are helping her out. She tells me she loves it there. The care and experience is well. I have nothing bad to say about the community. She is totally happy with the community.

I love the Waterview! It has been such a rewarding career! The residents are such a blessing to me. I can't see myself ever doing anything else! The staff are like family. Someone is here 24/7.

Happy that our family chose Waterview. The maint dept is always prepared to take care of any issues unlike the place dad lived before. The meals are well prepared and dad is finally putting some weight back on. From our experience I highly recommend this community and we are very pleased
