From (name removed) I would recommend this place to anyone. It is one of the best places I have been in, and stayed at. I have been to several others and did not like them. I even stayed in one place for only one night, and called my daughter to come and get me the hell out of there. I would not even recommend the one that my wife is staying in. It was a nice community; however it wasn't the right fit for my loved one.
They are very good at this community. My loved one is very happy and I have no complaints at all. They have activities like crafts, and reading and a lot of different activities. They also have a special lunch for the men also that they take them out every other month.

This place was phenomenal, and they did a great job keeping covid out of the community. Overall we have been very happy with it. They were all so kind to our loved one.

We chose Brookdale Shawnee because of the cheerfulness, the closeness to family, and we just loved the director here. She takes care of anything, if I call her she will look into it right away. They really listen to you and what you have to say. They have been especially great during the pandemic and are doing all that they can. The facility has an enclosed courtyard with a garden and it is totally safe, she really enjoys it. Overall, I think it is a great place to stay.

They are very friendly. They are trustworthy and make you feel at ease with your loved ones care. The director is very helpful. They are cost-effective. They are very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of resources.

My mother moved here recently and things are going really well. She participates in as many activities as she can and has made a lot of good friends. She brags about the food! So far there's nothing we would change. Brookdale Shawnee is a great community.

I really like the care at this community. The staff are always outstanding and provide excellent care, The meals could use little improvements.They offer a lot of great activities that are helpful to keep her active with the other residents. This is a one level community and we would highly recommend this community for great care and value.

I like being at Sterling House of Shawnee. The accommodations are nice and clean. The building and location is very safe. I really enjoy talking with the other residents here. This is really a wonderful facility.

This was a nice community, we considered it during our most recent search for options for a loved one. I've had a family member here before, and know that they've got a great place, and friendly staff. We didn't end up selecting this place this time around, we found another that really caught our eye.
