Thanks to consistent care assignments, dementia-trained team members, and a peaceful community environment, your loved one can thrive at Brookdale Roseburg. Each day, the residents receive one-on-one support and participate in meaningful, dementia-friendly activities. Through the exclusive Clare Bridge memory care program, residents are provided with a minimum of six enriching activities each day. The activities often include brain games or dancing and are designed to highlight residents' skills and boost social connections. The Solace Program offers an additional layer of care to those in the later stages of dementia. The program offers additional time for grooming, as well as music and aromatherapy activities. Regardless of residents’ specific needs, the staff is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency. An emergency alert system and keypad entries are also used to provide security for all. In addition to care and safety features, residents receive assistance with housekeeping, transportation, home maintenance, and meal preparation. Plus, the mealtimes are designed to feel effortless. The residents sit in preselected seating and have access to dementia-friendly menus and dining assistance, as needed. As an added bonus, residents can use the beauty/barbershop, postal services, whirlpool, and colorful garden.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Brookdale Roseburg, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped through the doors, it was evident that cleanliness and resident well-being were top priorities! The community was immaculately clean, creating a welcoming and comforting atmosphere. What stood out the most, however, was the level of care and engagement provided the residents. The staff members were not only attentive to the resident's physical needs but also went above and beyond to ensure their emotional and cognitive well-being. It was heartwarming to see the genuine connections between the staff and residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Overall, my experience at Brookdale Roseburg, left me with a profound sense of admiration and respect for the dedication and compassion of the staff, as well as the high standards of care provided to the residents. I would highly recommend this community.

Everyone at Brookdale Roseburg are extremely caring and helpful. They all address my mom by her first name, taking the time to get to know her. The facility and the outdoor area are always kept up and clean. The nurses and Director call frequently, keeping me updated on my mom's her health and care. Moving in was quick and easy. It took mom a few days to get adjusted, but she would always say that everyone is so nice and gets along so well. They pay special attention to mom's likes and dislikes with her meals and always serve a little treat, too. I also appreciate their special attention to details: hair (which there a hairstylist on site), manicures, matching her bracelets to her outfits, etc. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Roseburg to anyone who would ask me.

I have been fortunate to have been around Brookdale Roseburg, since before it was Brookdale over 20 years ago. I have had the opportunity to volunteer there over the years. As well as my eldest son. My wife has worked there over 20 years. And now my mom resides there. She has been there just about one year this month. You may be surprised to know. The Same Administrator, The Same Dinning Director, The same Activities Director and many more have been there for around 20 years and more. So you are not just having a loved one in a facility. Here its with people who, have not bounced around place to place to gain experience. But have made this a home for our loved ones. There is compassion, kindness and the residence have something no other Memory care has. That is love for the residents. It may be a job to outsiders. But to those working within Brookdale Roseburg have made sure to make this a respectful, kind place, our loved ones can call home.

We have a loved one that has been there a few years. The Good: The caregivers work hard, and always are friendly and kind. They are respectful and helpful. The meals and variety, is amazing quality. In the few times we have eaten there. Its been a great experience. The Activities, They go on bus rides as well as other events. There is live music, games, and dancing. Overall the caregivers are doing the activities, as well as care. So the fact they find time to do this, shows how hard the caregivers work. The Medical staff: They have a Nurse on duty I am told and medical technicians. From what I see they are well organized. The Bad: This last winter, was pretty bad. If you call there, plan on calling back. The facility is nice, and clean inside. But the outside has a dead lawn, weeds everywhere. Dead bushes in areas. The esthetics outside are not inviting. You pull up to visit, and weeds everywhere. The other day a 2ft weed where we parked. Going for walks is not pleasant.

The activities at this community are fabulous, our loved one is not lonely anymore and has made friends. During the few months she has been there she has been on to the wildlife safari a few times as well as the museum. They bring in live entertainers for the residents, there is bingo everyday. We would recommend this community to other families

I toured this community. It's beautiful and the staff was friendly. Cleanliness was good. However, I don't feel like they fully disclosed their policies up front. I didn't find out until after my tour that they don't accept unvaccinated residents. Their overall attitude about it felt snarky to me.

November 3, 2022Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We will review your feedback with out management team.
My sister was widowed and never had children. When it came time for her to leave her home that responsibility fell on me to make the decision. As expected, she was not very happy with me to move her from her home. It took her a few we weeks, but she now considers it home, safe with people around her 24 hours per day. She has lived at Brookdale, Roseburg for 3 years. I chose Brookdale, Roseburg for the feeling of openness. Lots of windows. Looking out onto the patios and courtyard (my sister loves the outdoors) and the cleanliness. So many daily activities, outings, etc. to keep the residents active throughout each day. The staff...always caring and attentive. They all care about their residents to keep them happy. I am 74 years old and visit as often as possible. I can't begin to say how much I appreciate having Brookdale, Roseburg in our area. I know I have done the best for my sister as she continues to lose her memory and all we shared growing up together. It makes me sad.

Brookdale has exceeded my expectations and has made the placement for my mother a smooth transaction. The director is always available and efficient and runs a 'tight ship', and provided to me information I needed beyond the scope of Brookdale. The whole staff is friendly and eager to help with any need or concern. The facility is well maintained and impressive each time I come to visit which is about twice per week. My mother has adapted well and has enjoyed the new group of friends she has made at meal time. All in all, I was extremely careful when making the placement decision for mom, and I am very happy I chose Brookdale.
