Brookdale North Glendale

It is a small community, extremely clean and quiet. The staff is kind and caring. They keep the POA updated on any changes. My mother in law is clean and dressed appropriately. There are always activities. A beautiful outdoor locked sitting area, with flowers and a small vegetable garden. The cost has increased, but that is to be expected.

I would tell my friend that this place has friendly caring staff. The facility is always clean. And they have an excellent program for memory care.I picked this place because of the memory care program and that the facility only holds around 30 residents. It was smaller than a lot of places I looked at. I didn't feel like my mom would just be another number.

We love this community. The staff is just wonderful. There is a quiet calm always - yet so much going on. Our loved one is happy, involved, and feels at home. We love everything about this community.

Everyone is so helpful. My mother fell & bumped her head - no one from Brookdale called me about it. I had to hear about it from the hospice worker.

Brookdale is a great place with fantastic staff. They have excellent activities. Staff always has the well-being of residents in mind. We LOVE Brookdale. We love the staff. They are like family.

Leadership is very concerned with the well being with all the residents and listen to the concerns of the family. All the workers are friendly & help make the residents comfortable. Would recommend this community.

My wife of 50+ years is receiving excellent care. She has resided at BNG for two years and there have been NO issues with her treatment and experience here.

My aunt is well taken care of. There are several activities throughout the day and opportunities to share special occasions with our loved ones. The community is just the right size so that staff can meet everyone needs.

Always a pleasure to visit this community. Staff and residents are inviting and happy. Residents are well taken care of - clean and groomed. Snacks and drinks offered frequently throughout the day - staff knowledgeable about their residents.

Lovely community.

The staff at Brookdale North Glendale, made an extremely difficult time manageable. They are so kind, caring and helpful. I am forever grateful. We chose Brookdale North Glendale initially over other places we looked because of the staff member, the facility itself, and the fact that it is a memory care only model which we thought would be the best for our loved ones needs.

Brookdale has been an awesome fit for my mom. The staff is very friendly and kind to all the residents. Each staff member knows each resident by name and will take care of them like they are their own relative.

They tell you what you want to hear until you are in there, then everything fell apart. Her call string didn't work so she would sit waiting for assistance, she fell at least once. It was memory care so we asked for her wheelchair and walker be out of her reach so she wouldn't attempt to walk on her own. Numerous times a family member would come in and see the wheelchair and/or walker right next to her. Other residents would wander into her room which made her feel uncomfortable. I will say the staff was great, administration not so much. Prices increased in January and none of the family knew about it, we later found a letter in her room about it, overall we were very dissatisfied, she was only there 8 months!

They're very good with communication-very friendly and approachable. They have addressed anything right away. My loved ones took awhile to adjust but they are very comfortable with staff. They are very accommodating with everything that was needed for my loved. Overall, it is goos as it can be. The environment was not too big or small, it's like a resort. They have an outdoor area, and it feels very homey. You feel good, when you walk in.

What you see is what you get. There are activities available for the residents to participate if they would like. The communication with the staff is good if I have any questions over my loved one's care.

We chose Brookdale North Glendale because they take long term care which was important to us. They were also very good with helping us and being as accommodating as possible. Communication from the staff has been great, they are always on top of things and call with any questions or concerns. Right now it is a good value, but the rates are about increase quite a bit. Overall, I would recommend to others who are looking.

My mother has been at Brookdale for the past 4 months. The facility is spacious and inviting. Staff members are professional, knoweledgeable, patient, caring, and helpful. Everyone is so friendly. We are comfortable leaving our mom here and know she is well taken care of. "A+"
