Brookdale Grand Prairie

I am happy here! We have been here a year and I have not regretted moving here a second! Our apartment is so pretty and airy. I still can keep busy with things that I used to do, like knitting! And I enjoy dining with new friends, who quickly become good friends. I really enjoy the wide variety of food! And yes, I am happy here!

The food is delicious and varied and the service is excellent. You feel cared for. The living facility is clean and fun. I find that the meals being scheduled at specific times gives me a schedule to live by. I have also found that if I have a concern they listen to me

I have been here for 17 months and like it here. It gives my family peace of mind knowing I am not alone. Made 80 new friends when I moved here. Three meals a day, they have various activities to keep one busy. I am able to still drive but they have a bus available to take residents to appointments and shopping two days a week. They also take the bus for several outing a month

We play Bean Bag Baseballl with the residents every Monday, Wednesday & Friday. The employees are absolutely wonderful to the residents. All I ever hear is praise for the staff. A good job by all!!!!

Overall I am very satisfied with all aspects of Brookdale Grand Prairie. All staff are very friendly and pleasant...go out of their way to learn names rapidly and make you feel welcome. Also the residents are all willing to welcome newbies and are pleasant. I would recommend this community to other families.

The community is very clean which we really like, and the first day our loved one moved in we met with a lot of staff members and they were very friendly which was a great sign. We also were able to visit friends before our loved one moved in so we were very familiar with the community. We do feel that our loved one is getting their money's worth and we would recommend them to other families .

The food service needs improvement. It looks clean except the spa and fitness room and lockers do not look clean or safe. The staff is always helpful. I love my home here.

We chose Brookdale Grand Prairie because of the convenient location, the ease of getting in there and they had a spot ready when we needed it. The apartment sizes are great, they have several different options to choose from. I would absolutely recommend them and we already have, mom has had 2 friends who have moved in from her recommendations.

We toured and were planning to move my mom in but then Covid-19 happened and the quarantine so we never got to move her in. From what I saw they have a nice range of activities. The food we had was very good. This is one I would definitely consider.

The tour was so good yesterday and mom fell in love with the room. Perfect for her and her small dog. Already said yes to the place.

We were so lucky that we found this community and that my dad was able to bring his dog with him. the management worked with us to make that happen. He has a great cottage with a fenced yard. The staff has been so nice to him and they do encourage him to take part in the activities but for now he likes to go visit with my mom who is another community just down the street. My dad also has a choice of eating in the dining room or in his cottage. We were very fortunate to have moved my dad here.

My parents are doing great with the community the picked out. When we toured they liked it and said this is where they want to be. They are happy with Brookdale and they felt comfortable. Everything has been good since moving in. They like the staff and the food that is made.

I like this community for the care for my mom. I like the staff for keeping me informed on her progress. The community is clean and maintained. The variety of healthy meals are very good and she is enjoying the variety. They offer a lot of great activities to help her stay active. We highly recommend the care and value of this community to other families.

I would recommend this community because I am happy with the care. They keep up and clean the community well. My parents are eating wonderful meals and they are starting to join in the activities they offer.

My parents are doing wonderful here at Brookdale Grand Prairie: they love it. The community looks amazing and very clean, no problems regarding cleaning. The staff has been great and helpful to my parents. They know them by their names and really get along with them. The food is great and there are great activities for my parents to do. They enjoy bingo and the musical guest that comes and plays music for them. They treat my parents great here, very attentive to them and always checking on them. It has really made a difference in my parents. They are more alert now and seem to be functioning better since the move into the community. It has been a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this community.

The level of care here is excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive with the residents. We like the fact that there is lots of one on one time with the residents here. The residents here are secure and well taken care of.

Everything is really just fine over here at the Brookdale Grand Prairie facility. There is nothing that comes to my mind about anything that the facility or that the staff members can make improvements on.

The staff at the Villas Courtyard is very patient and friendly. I witnessed on multiple occasions, where the staff went over something with their residents several times to make sure the person understood and was comfortable. It's a great staff and great value.

I was really impressed with how the staff was with my mom. They were very patient and assuring and help her with her needs. They didn't mind if she needed to ask a question several times over. They would answer it until she felt comfortable.

The Villas at Albany meets all of my interests. The residents are closer to my age of 74 than where I had previously been staying. The meals are like old fashioned home cooking, not institutional. Both the staff and residents are very friendly and helpful.
