Brookdale Florham Park

The staff is wonderful and the nurses and care is very good. My mother loves the meals and they are good about letting her eat in her room if she doesn't go to the dining room. Are only negative (and it's kind of big) is that they were rather deceptive when signing the papers. From saying if we signed up for [fee removed] A month for medical care and not go up which was untrue. Also that if she was there for 2 years they would accept her as medicaid. She has been there almost 2 1/2 years now and was running out of money and they're saying she will not necessarily be able to remain there. She is inheriting money and will be able to pay for another year but are decision on where to go and how long her money would last was based on what they told us. They stressed over and over that this what made Brookdale different but it seems was just a lie.

I'm afraid my experience was very negative, but that was very much due to my mother not being in a good frame of mind. I would not recommend for someone with limited mobility or serious medical conditions. Nursing and care staff were always stretched thin. It was very painful dealing with them near the end.

Best assisted living place!!!! Staff is amazing and very professional and caring. They did everything well. Especially the care. The professionalism and caring for the residents amazing. The dining room fantastic. The salon awesome. The care wonderful. The nurses and nurses aides fabulous!!

Such a wonderful facility for my dad. The staff really is high level. It is a big family - that's the best way I can put it. Personal, welcoming, accommodating, listen to questions and concerns, responsive, and so much more! I trust this facility and that is a great feeling.

I've been impressed with them. It's a clean facility with a good smell. Because of Covid, there's extra security, and the residents aren't going to be able to wander off anywhere. Both the staff and residents are all friendly and say hello. The staff bent over backwards to get my family member in when we were in a time crunch, and everything went smoothly. The food is good and usually served hot. The service is timely - residents aren't waiting around like at a restaurant. Even the food service director knew everything about my loved one, so the staff really know the residents here, which helps.

They are very friendly and they know all of the residents by name. They make a real effort to get them to join in on things, even if they don't want to right away. They make an effort to make their lives better and get them involved.

Excellent facility, could feel the love from staff and residents

[Name removed] was very helpful, but it felt too old and too much like a nursing home for our mother. It was very quiet. We didn’t see many residents in the common areas and those we did see were mostly dozing.

Loved the community. [Name removed] was wonderful and the location was high on Mom's list of requirements. the tour was very nice and the occupants seemed very nice as well. this establishment was in the running and it was up to Mom to decide.

He is doing well and is comfortable at this community. It is nice and clean. It is a locked facility so that is good for him. The staff is friendly. He gets good food 3x a day. The staff tries to engage him to come and join the daily activities. It is a very very nice place. I would recommend them.

Unfortunately my mother passed away the day she was due to move into Brookdale Florham Park. I know that she would have been so very happy there it would have been a perfect fit. The staff are amazing, they make you feel like family, and they were going to be able to address all of my mothers needs. The community is beautiful and my mom had several friends who live there as well as knowing some of the staff that work there. Brookdale Florham Park would be a good fit for anyone who was looking for a loved one and I highly recommend that you take a tour and get to know their loving staff. LL

My brother and I are very comfortable with the care that my mother is getting in the Memory Unit at Brookdale Florham Park although she does keep telling us she does not want to be there. The staff there are very friendly and take very good care of my mother's needs, her room is well kept up and everything is very clean. My mom does not mind the food. They do keep my mom busy with different activities and my brother comes and takes her out on the weekends as well as to her doctor appointments. I do feel that my mother is receiving very good care. And for me, one of the things that I have found is the cost/pricing for Senior care everywhere is so out of portion.

Everyone I have met is helpful and eager to answer any questions to make Brookdale a new home for my Mother. Brookdale is the best facility in the north new jersey area based on cost, care, services provided and the facility itself.

We like the care that my mom is getting from this community. The staff are caring to the needs that she is requesting. We are happy with the menu and the good variety. My mom is happy with her room and like the areas of the community. We find that this is a clean and nice enviroment for her. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one with a good value

The tour my family and I received at this community was very detailed and informative. The staff made us feel very welcomed and spent lots of time explaining things to my loved one and I during our visit. This location was one of my top choices, it was just a little to far of a drive from my house.
