Brookdale Conway

It has taken a while for them to figure out how to cook vegetarian foods. Mom was extremely independent prior to coming there and that has been a major adjustment for her, but I think that's the same for everybody.

The price is way too high. And they raise it every few months. Many many residents moved out at the same time as my family members because the price was raised twice in a few months period and it is way to high for that particular place. The apartments are small and not fancy and nothing reflects the amount they want to charge. There are other places that cost less and are way newer and nicer and have more to offer. Also you do not get any assistance with anything unless you pay extra even for minimal assistance. I wouldn't recommend because it certainly is not worth anywhere near what the rates are. Most of the caretakers are great but the management is horrible.

It has not been what was described. Although we are working with them. I hope it gets better.

Meals are very good but dining services is slow. I picked this community because of the size of apartment, and price.

I would tell others that they try hard, they've got an extremely nice place, and they're very friendly.

My Mom is turning 103, and has been in Brookdale for several years and we LOVE IT! You must know this about me (the only living child)...I'm VERY protective of my Mom! The Employees at Brookdale, Conway are Family! They treat my Mom with Respect, love, compassion, and stay in touch with me if there's a concern considering her! I wouldn't have her living anywhere else!

This has been a very good experience. I have enjoyed my stay here, and I believe I have made a wise choice. The staff are very helpful, and they have patience to answer our questions. There are three meals a day and a dining room for the residents to eat in. The community will deliver the food to the resident's room if requested.

I was suffering from a very deep, dark depression when I first visited Brookdale Conway; I was living alone - all I had to keep me going were my therapist, one particularly good friend, and my incredibly special Boston terrier. Brookdale Conway was not the last place I visited that day, but it is the last place I remember visiting. The sales manager stayed so positive and upbeat; he assured me that they could become my new family and that my dog would be especially welcomed. I decided to make Brookdale Conway my new home and the people there my new family. I have never regretted the decision. Yes, they clean my room, do my laundry, prepare three great meals every day, provide medical care if needed, and supply plenty for residents to enjoy, both on-campus and through field trips. The big difference is the people. They all genuinely care about me (and my dog). The people of Brookdale Conway have given me new purpose and meaning.

During our loved ones stay the staff members were so friendly and showed genuine care to our loved one and were very accommodating. The two people running the place were wonderful and the residents were always kind.

We chose Brookdale Conway because we were impressed with the staff members when we went for our tour. The room sizes here are bigger than we thought they were going to be. They are very good about communication with me about any kinds of changes. We have been pleased and I would absolutely recommend them.

Was too far from family and doctors. The outdoor area for the residents was not very big, no shade, and noisy. Staff very friendly.

Wonderful activities director [name removed] she is very inclusive. It is an older facility Brookdale took over this building, it is not a luxury type building. It works for my mom. She likes it but it is not as updated as others in the area but this is also reflected in the price. We really like the people and they are very warm. Caregivers are wonderful.

My mother lived at Brookdale for nearly 3 years prior to her death. It was truly like being in a family atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and caring. There are newer and shinier places out there, but if you value care of your elderly family member and want them in a place you can trust...chose Brookdale. You won't regret it.

Very pleasant and went out of their way to answer our questions. We were not rushed and our needs were well met.

Above our price range right now. But great location for us and have heard good recommendations from others who have considered Brookdale.

Brookdale Conway was a nice community. It was very well-kept and clean. The staff was friendly and they answered all of the questions that we had. We chose another community that was closer to our family members.

Dad only lasted a few days here it turned out that he needed more skilled one on one care than what they provided. However, in the short amount of time he was there I was pleased. The staff was friendly and did their best to attend to dad. I don't recall him complaining about the food so I am guessing it was good. The housekeeping in the facility was done quite well.
