This has been the best experience for my mother-in-law! She is attending many activities and engaging with others. At age 90 she is in Independent Living at the moment, but the staff has oversight of her, pops into her apartment if she misses a meal, knows her interests and reaches out to engage or check on her. Brookdale Bonita Springs is not a high-end facility, has very small public grounds. But my mother in law is content to stay mostly inside and attend the activities. They have had staffing issues like everywhere else but are still attentive. She is well cared for and happy!... Read more

Brookdale has been nicely updated in coastal decor. Some of the best things here are that it has a homey feel which is enjoyed by the residents. Brookdale residents are welcoming and friendly and it has a friendly and caring staff and management. We have been in other ALFs and the respect and care shown by Brookdale Staff to their residents are wonderful. From our family experiences - Brookdale Bonita is an older building so it has its own issues - *AC are wall units which aren't the ideal situation as heavy rains can cause occasional water coming into units. *Toilets are the older, lower versions and seniors really could use comfort heights. *But any maintenance issues are addressed fairly quickly. *Staff is friendly, respectful and caring and reach out with updates as noted. *Brookdale facility could really use an area for residents & visitors to sit outside in the shade. Currently residents mostly sit on the front porch area and these in-wall ac units are roaring and throwing off heat. Not pleasant at all.

From the minute we walked into the door we were greeted with smiles, professionalism, and positivity. The Sales Team, Executive Director, and Front Lobby Receptionist have each impacted our lives and the life of our mother who now calls Brookdale her home. We visit often and feel like we have a second family in the staff here. We could not be more pleased to have chosen Brookdale Bonita Springs as our Place For Our Mom.

My mom moved into Bonita Springs [date removed] and her happiness has significantly changed. She loves all of the activities and made really wonderful friends. She raves about the bistro service provided and said the manager knows her coffee by the color. Mom says Bonita is her home away from home.

I toured with the sales team at Bonita Springs and it was very informative. They informed me on the importance of safety in senior living, what questions to ask and what Bonita Springs had to offer. When my grandma is ready to make the move, I will be choosing Brookdale.

After touring several surrounding properties (primarily Bonita area and North Naples). I decided to stop by Brookdale. Wow. The satisfaction I saw from the residents was unlike any of the others. [name removed] is the young lady who helped us and she was amazing. [name removed]care knowledge and attention is top shelf. [name removed] clearly cares a lot about the residents and staff as well. Thank you again [names removed], you guys are truly one of a kind!

I toured several senior living facilities. They all were not bad but Brookdale of Bonita Springs was seriously a step above. All the staff were just so nice. The place is clean and bright. I went to Brookdale of Bonita springs different days and different times. Every time there was different activities going on. I found the residents to be happy and content. I truly can’t say enough good things about Brookdale of Bonita Springs.

If I could give Brookdale Bonita Springs 10 stars, I gladly would do so. Although my mom hasn’t yet moved in, the Brookdale staff has been understanding, compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable in getting us to this point. One can tell when a person truly cares about the elderly, and this can be seen over and over again at Brookdale. Thank you ladies ( it says I can’t use names here), but you know who you are. God bless you all.

My father is very happy at Brookdale! We had moved him into [removed] and found it to be lacking in so many ways. The food was terrible, my fathers quality clothing came up missing, my father had level 4 edema that was not addressed by the Dr., and he had terrible rashes and strange bug bites, all within two months of moving him in, then, after promising him a refund, their new director stopped returning our calls or emails. Thank God I found Brookdale. My father is now happy & healthy. He loves the staff, partakes on dinner and lunch outings, and even wants to go on outings to Publix to shop for himself. The food is wonderful and the residents are friendly and active. Brookdale Bonita Springs had been a wonderful choice!

The management team is amazing, very knowledgeable, flexible and helpful. The facility itself is clean, happy and inviting. Also, from what my parents say the food is very good and the staff is very kind and helpful! The apartment sizes are a very good size. We were happy with the space.

Staff are nice and polite. Spend time helping but also talking to my mom. The medication management is their weakest area. Overall the best value in assisted living for people with minimal medical needs. Not recommended for highly medically or cognitively compromised.

Love it, love it, love it!! The staff and residents are so friendly and so engaging! I never expected or ever thought that I could feel so welcomed ! I'm not exaggerating one bit! The activities are great, and the food most certainly is not cafeteria food ! At times I feel like I should pinch myself and wake up to reality! My sister and niece visited my new home, and they said it felt like a resort! And, no, this was not a commercial!

I have found the associates are warm, friendly, personable. They listen to you when there are concerns. If you are bored, majority of the time it is your own fault. There are many scheduled events and many things to do on your own. You just have to be open to them. It feels like we, the residents and associates, are one big family.

A Place for Mom has scored Brookdale Bonita Springs 9.6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
