Family oriented facility. Doors are always opened for all disciplines including administration and director of nursing who is always readily available and hands on. Amazing staff all around from all disciplines. Wonderful rehab staff for sure. Most importantly, the Social Services department is absolutely amazing in communicating with residents and their loved ones from admission to discharge planning to reaching each department and getting all your questions answered! Director of Social Work [name removed] is fantastic!!! I have never come across a social work who is readily available to assist and really gets to know her residents and family members. She informs residents/families about updates, changes in status and participation in care plan meetings. She goes above and beyond in trying to accommodate and meet the needs of every resident and their loved ones. She is truly a gem!! The staff aims to make a difference in the overall psychological well-being and healthy outlook of all .

Professionally, [name removed], SW director, had been so helpful and follows up on ALL admissions and discharges which is required in my role with NY State ID/DD. She has also been extremely helpful personally, when I had questions about my mom and placement here in New York after a visit for Florida. Bronx Park is one of the few SNF's that responds to questions immediately. I do not have to wait for responses when she doesn't answer the phone, She immediately calls back which I know is difficult in this busy and demanding field.

My mom was in this facility for rehab and she had an amazing time. The staff were very courteous and the physical therapy was simply awesome.

The place is very neat and they clean his sheets often. It is very clean. He is resistant to therapy but they are patient and encourage him to participate.

They are very attentive with the residents, but they don't respond to the patients as quickly as they should. He likes when they serve fish and he eats the sandwiches

I liked the physical therapy program. They had enough staff on hand.

They are on top of things as much as they can be. The staff is very friendly all the time, but they have too little staff on-hand. There is four patients using one bathroom and that is not enough for the residents. The bathroom could be cleaner. The rooms are small, the wheelchairs are hard to maneuver

Some nurses are a little rude, but not all. The food was never good. They need more choices.
