Wonderful place if u cannot keep your family at home ...this is the best home away from home. They treat them like they are their family and I know that made my grandma feel so at home.

Wonderful place & great environment. Decor is always so beautifully done and set in a family atmosphere to feel at home even when your unable to be in your own home , whether it be short term or long term I highly reccomended Bristol in Palmyra for anyone's loved ones.

This facility is AMAZING!!! Very "homey" and cozy atmosphere. All rooms include a PRIVATE bathroom which is not very common in a group home setting. The administrator [name removed] was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and warm. You can tell immediately tell she truly cares about the residents in her charge as well as their families. Another huge plus is that the meals provided to the residents are HOMECOOKED,NO INSTITUTIONAL FOOD!!! The facility was also clean and free of offensive odors that are common in most group home settings. This is DEFINITELY our #1 pick for our loved one!!!!

My mom moved my grandpa from Sr Housing to here about 4 years ago. He was needing more care than he would admit. He is not ready for a nursing home and still likes to come and go as he pleases. Mom chose Bristol Manor for the fact it was an assisted living and he could still leave when he wanted. They help with his medicine and make sure he is taken care of. The administrator and my mom have joined forces to make sure my grandpa does what he is supposed to do and takes his medicine. Great place

I was a resident a Bristol Manor in Palmyra after I had my knee surgery. They building was clean,and the food was great. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

My grandfather lives in Bristol Manor in Palmyra. My mom needed someone to look after my grandpa as he was unable to take complete care of himself. She chose Bristol and he likes it there. We were not sure to begin with how he would react. The staff have been great to him and the administrator calls my mom when anything needs addressed regarding grandpa. I would recommend them to anyone

I hate going in with my mother who is elderly and spoke with [name removed] in regards to possible placement. My mother was very pleased with the overall cleanliness and look up the facility. I found the staff to all be very sweet and friendly. [Name removed] was very patient and answering all of my mother's questions. I'm waiting for my mother to make her final decision before I do a final placement but I'm really hoping that she chooses this facility. Even I was impressed with the staff. Great job guys! You guys have a great facility!

Very clean facility and staff was always very helpful and knew just what my family member needs were. They treat everyone as family not as a number . I would highly reccomended anyone to bring there family member here as a place to recoup or as a place to live ..

Bristol Manor in Palmyra, MO is absolutely amazing! The staff is wonderful, and very involved with their residents. They take pride in what they do, and it really shows. The staffing makes sure, that every holiday is special for the residents and their families. Its very clean, with private rooms, and home cooked meals.

When I found out my cousin was considering this facility for my aunt I admit, I was concerned. You often hear bad things about senior centers and such, but I had to write this review to say that she is BEYOND happy here! Everytime I visit the place is clean and the staff are super friendly. I can honestly say, they have put my fears at ease and I definitely recommend everyone checking this location out first. They have 100% of my trust.

My dad was not sure about moving here to begin with. He had a fear of nursing homes. After he was there about a month and had time to adjust, he loves it there. He has made friends and the staff is top notch. They are very family orientated and call me with any concerns. They are VERY proactive with their residents care and this is a great thing. He has not always been the most cleanest person and they encourage him to bathe daily and if he does not, they contact me. They monitor his blood sugars and are constantly in contact with the dr. I have nothing but high praises for Bristol Manor in Palmyra. Genevia, the administrator is awesome. She takes the time to get to know her residents and they are considered family to her. If your mom or dad needs a place to call home but still want some type of independence, then contact Bristol Manor.

Dad loves it here..small facility means more individual attention..great food..laundry done and room cleaned..meds also given..Plenty of room to visit in common area and staff is always helpfull! Glad he can be in a facility in his own home town!

He was not happy and he made that pretty well known. He tried to run away and at one point when my sister picked him up for church, he said "Either you take me home or I'm hitchhiking." This was really frustrating to us because he'd had a month to decide if this is what he wanted to do, and it was HIS IDEA up until the day the move was supposed to happen. He is 98 years old and had been living on his own, so I think this was just too big of a transition. I felt really bad for Elle and her staff. She and Susan, the lady who cooks, are both really nice people. The facility is clean, and they were very responsive and took good care of him. We were very disappointed in my father.
