Whatever you do if you love your family member, do NOT send them here. Staff doesn't even know how to pass meds correctly, 17 different employees during a pandemic. Current employee Faith verbal abuses patients. They have been without proper care and food during this whole pandemic.

Response from Bristol Manor of Nevada
February 17, 2020Thank you for your kind words. It is the goal of the administrator and staff to assure everyone receives excellent care! Bristol Care
My 91yo uncle only stayed there a few days. The staff was very nice, but not at all what I had been told before moving him there. They said there would be nursing care available anytime, but this was not the case. As far as I could tell, there were only two staff who worked twelve hour shifts. They could not offer the care my uncle needed. This place is closer to an independent facility. It is not their fault, but more people need to be hired, although the price was very reasonable. I think most people would be glad to pay more for better care. I feel bad for the two ladies who ran themselves ragged.

Response from Bristol Manor of Nevada
February 17, 2020We apologize that our services are not what you were searching for. We are licensed as Residential Care facilities. Skilled care is not provided by our staff. We are usually the first step when someone cannot live alone any longer but do not require skilled care. Unlike independent care facilities, we do provide 24 hour staff, medication administration, meals are provided ,housekeeping and laundry service. Each location establishing their activity program based on resident wants. Our smaller communities do allow for a family feel. Although state regulations do not require staffing as in a skilled facility, I can assure you that we provide staffing that exceeds the regulation for our level of care. It does appear that your Uncle needed a higher level of care than we provide. We wish you both well.. Thank you

A Place for Mom has scored Bristol Manor of Nevada 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
