I have lived at Bristol Manor for almost 10 years now. I’ve met a lot nice folks during my time here. When I first came here I was a bit hesitant about a residential care facility. Being a disabled veteran I admit I had a few doubts. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The staff was immediately caring and courteous. Over the years I’d say that people that come here start to feel like family with one another. [Name removed] the house manager, is constantly in good mood. I don’t know how she does it. And she is highly competent in everything she does whether it’s passing medications, preparing meals, dealing with diabetics, seeing that the staff do their jobs correctly and always caring for the residents. In my opinion this place feels more like a nice an apartment atmosphere than a facility. I love having my own room to myself and not having to share it with anyone. The meals are excellent. The back porch and meadow behind the manor is a nice place to sit out and visit at night too. All and all I don’t think there’s a better place you could find like this. I’m thankful this place was listed when I was looking for somewhere nice and peaceful way back when.... Read more

We've been very pleased with everything at this community so far! The staff have all been very friendly and professional. Sandy, the director, in particular was a real sweetheart, and I definitely trust her to take great care of my Mom. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the care and activities here seem to be very good as well.
