I am sorry but I had placed my mom here back in July 2017. the owner promises many things but does not come through. I was told there would be 2 aides at all time. Which there was not . Which was As far as activity's I never saw any except for a singer and guitar player. My mother had at least 4 incidents that were pretty serious She was hurt pretty bad. As far as people whom have dementia I never any memory care for these people. when I first placed my mom there I had asked if the owner spent time there and I was told she could not be there every day but she did spend a lot of time there . Which was not true. If patient was sick Dr did not show up sometimes for a week or so. The aides there spent a lot of time sitting playing with there phones while ignoring the patient. My mother had a serious sore on her foot and it was ignored until it got so bad she ended up in the hospital for 22 days, I first was told they did not see it. I was very confused being if you bath her every day how did you not see it??? Turned out they did see it but ignored it until it got very bad. It turned out she had mercer and 2 other infections plus went to hospital with a bedsore. Also was told she had a full generator that worked. But during the hurricane they did not have gas for the partial generator and the elderly were very HOT. I was told by the owner I could take my mom home. Which I did. Due to the new law she had to get one put in.I would like to say when I placed my mom here I was on a very tight budget which we discussed. I told her my mother was on limited income. The owner told me do not worry about it. But when the end of year came she raised me. I explained to her what we had discussed when I placed my mom here. Her reply was cant you get your family to pay??? I said no I can not. she raised her any way I am sorry I would not recommend this place to anyone,

I put my mother in here little over a year ago. The owner makes promises that she does not keep. When putting my mom here I spoke with the owner and told her what was important to me. My mom being fed with home cooked meals , keeping clean dry and safe. Also told me there would be 2 aides at all times and that the girls worked there for a long time. They only have one aide at night and they did have two aides but then took them away because she could not afford to pay for two aides during the day. This disturbed me very much being the owner herself has said NO RESIDENT should be transported without two aides with them at all times. I myself went to her about an aide all most dropping one of the patience. I have seen one of the patience being dropped because the girls could not hold her up. I went to see my mom every day and I never saw any activities that the resident did. My mother has had at least 6 incidents where she was hurt badly. I have seen a lot that made my head spin. All I can say is check out these places very good before leaving you loved one there. Make sure you get all they do in writing. My mother Is now home with me and doing much better.

Well I usually do not write a review but I must start doing this so people can have a better idea about these places before putting there loved ones in these places. All I can say is when meeting with a owner and they tell you what they are going to do for your loved one and do NOT follow through it is very heart wrenching. Peoples word means everything to me. So when they break there word on many things. There is no trust anymore. So make sure you get everything they say that they do in writing. My Mom has been in this home for a little over a year. She has been hurt at least 5 times. Promised that there would be 2 aides at all times transporting patients. Which there was not. They had 1 girl at night . In the beginning they had two in the afternoon but took away one of the aides due to there was only 3 residents left there Those 3 residents still need to be transported safely. Owner is barely there. Very disappointed. EXTREMLY upset with my moms injury.[I moved my mom back home.

Considering we had no knowledge of where to even start when placing a family member into Assisted Living we found the perfect fit from the get go with Bright Horizons. The home is lovely, organized and the residents smiled when an employee came to work not to mention that the employee's have been there for 6 plus years. We feel our family member will be very happy here and we are thrilled that A Place for Mom helped us in narrowing down the search.
