Thieves!!!! When I moved into the Boulder Palms Senior Apartments I was warned by U.S. Vets that other veterans had had a problem. I left the apartment clean and no damage, but they stole my deposit that U.S.Vets put-up for me. Don't move here, you have been warned. Thieves, Thieves, Thieves. They should not have a business license! They should be in jail.

I moved in 11 months ago. Retired Military guy who just got his full VA Benefits. So i came here with a nice new car and some money in my pocket. I grew up in Vegas so i figured this would be a great place to retire. They gave me a free month telling me they needed to increase their numbers. Really wouldn't let me tour the complex too much or talk to any of the tenants etc. Did most of the lease stuff online. Thought the place was nice. But upon moving in i immediately started having problems with my neighbor in [removed]. Said he had some furniture in storage if i wanted it. I thought cool, i wanted to make friends. But then i found out from maintenance that this guy is the local hustler and fished it out of the dumpster. Paid him 30 bucks for it. Upon further inspection i did find it to be pretty funky so i tossed it. The neighbor wasn't happy when i said i wanted my money back. That of course after he started bugging me daily to lend him 10 dollars or so. Come to find out most of the folks here are on Section 8 Vouchers. Me being an Army Veteran i have been down on my luck and have used vouchers in the past. But since the furniture incident with my neighbor i was constantly harassed. Several incidents happened that management knew about like my neighbor accusing me of slamming my door while he was having a loud drunken party with an apartment full of people. Went to the office to complain, he followed me basically yelling and freaking out to the manager who threatened to kick him out. He left the office and i stayed behind and told management about the furniture incident, etc. They did nothing about it. Things progressively got worse between us to the point he had one of his big friends, a guy who doesn't live in the complex to threaten me while i was trying to leave my apartment. Stood in front of the door and would not let me leave. I heard them outside as i was leaving, so i pulled out my phone and filmed the incident. I still have the video and will be using it as evidence in a lawsuit i am filing. Filmed my neighbor trying to grab my phone as i had to basically push the big guy out of the way to get to my car, as they were joking i would have a hard time leaving. The automatic gate would not open like somebody jammed it or something. Had to drive to the other side of the complex and exit out the other gate. It being a Sunday the office was closed so i took the video to the office the next day and showed the maintenance guy because he was the only one there. He got up out of his chair and went outside, i thought to talk to my neighbor. I tried calling the police, but it being Vegas on Boulder Highway i was transferred to non emergency and stayed on hold for almost a half hour , never did get thru to the police. But, the maintenance guy saw the video and had to realize what they did to me was totally illegal. But yet again nothing was done. They never even attempted to intervene. Most complexes would be concerned about that kind of behavior and either notify the authorities themselves or at least let me change apartments and get away from the problem tenant. I tried my best to live there. Really liked my apartment and wanted things to work out. But the constant daily harassment proved to be too much. Tried talking and interacting with the other tenants, but my neighbor was always there telling them not to talk to me, basically shunning me from the community. Well things finally came to a head a few weeks ago when an incident happened and the police were called. I was arrested and accused of a crime which led them to say i had to move. Served me with the first 5 day notice, which i still have by the way, wasn't signed or nothing. I did move just to get away from that place. Now i am on house arrest and have to go to court to fight their accusations. Funny how all the so called witnessed are my neighbors friends. So to end , if they don't like you here, they will target you and make your life a living hell. FYI i wonder who won the 75 bucks for the positive Google comments contest on here?

It's Senior living, yet they put up a security gate that you have to have a clicker to and they won't let you in without the tenants permission. How am I suppose to check on tenant? It's roach infested, at least the apartment my family member was located. The cost is outrageous. Its only a hotel room converted.

A Place for Mom has scored Boulder Palms 7.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
