Check Medicare website. Their stats don't Lie [date removed] our 97 yrs old, WW2 Marine was living independent with assistance for showers, medications & meals. Every night he called his financial institutions to check his account balances. On [date removed], he was transferred from CDH to Bella Terra for short term rehabilitation to regain his strength. He took his last breath on [date removed]. Although we are deeply sadden by his death with emotions extremely high, it is important that this review is posted to help validate the other families with similar experiences. Details will be posted at a later date. Our loved one was placed in a room where he was unable to see or hear the TV and left without any mental stimulation except for the room phone. When the phone was placed within his reached, he was able to place a call. The room did NOT have the standard recliner found in most hospital rooms and other rehabilitation centers. He spent numerous days in his hospital bed.

I really want to get her in there. It's cleaner and brighter but still a facility, still three beds in each room type thing. They have memory care and full nursing care. I have heard that it is a pretty nice place.

A Place for Mom has scored Bella Terra of Streamwood 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
