I can't recommend this place highly enough. My mom moved there when Promedica in Arlington Hts closed. Then we found out she didn't have much time left. They graciously let us stay with her for those last 3 days. They even bought a cart of snacks into the room for those of us waiting! They were compassionate, generous and every single person was beyond kind. The facility is spotless, the rooms are large and the overall feeling of the place is very welcoming and homey. I couldn't have asked for a nicer place. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!... Read more

My mother is in hospice at this facility and she is dying. I don't know how much longer she has left. They are calling and harassing me about payment even though she is on medicaid. They do not care that I am suffering right now because I don't know how much longer she has to live. All they care about is money. They are cruel, heartless, cold, unfeeling people and I regret putting my mother there and subjecting her to those people. If you are looking for a place to put your loved ones LISTEN TO ME AND DON'T SEND THEM THERE!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!! I KNOW I DO!!!!!

This facility does not deserve any stars. The facility LOOKS clean and pristine to an outsider. It's the inside view where the social worker is equal to a nazi general. The nurses are completely uncaring and distant. A few CNA's are quite caring while the majority are mean, slovenly and have been accused of [removed]. I would not send an injured dog to this facility....it would be dead in a week.

I visited as scheduled. There was a virus or something going on so I couldn't tour the upper floors. From what I saw on the first floor, the facility was clean, had no offensive odor. I did not see any activities but I was shown a schedule of daily activities. The only staff member I talked to was Wendy. Outdoor recreation space was very small. Meals are Buffet style. From what I saw this facility I would consider having my Father becoming a resident.

A Place for Mom has scored Bella Terra 6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
