I can't speak from the family perspective because it was just me involved in the decision to place my father in Monarch Village. I made my decision based on online reviews along with a brief 20 minute visit at the facility. As a side note, my dad was living with me. I was scheduled to have major surgery. Previous lodging arrangement I made for my dad fell through just prior prior to surgery. I needed to quickly find a place for dad. After a quick visit at Monarch Village along with other communities, I selected Monarch Village based on the friendly nature of the staff, cleanliness of the community and close proximity to my home. Dad was there for 10 days. I picked him up after I spent 8 days in the hospital.... Read more

My dad was kicked out of this community. Then a few months later they reopened under a different name. This would be the 3 or 4th time I’ve heard that they have done this. This is so sickening how they are ok with misplacing seniors. Please go to an assisted living that is stable.

We toured Monarch Villa at Stockbridge when looking for Assisted Living/Memory Care for our loved one. It was a beautiful facility! The place was very clean. Everyone was polite and friendly. It just wasn't the right fit for our loved one.

They seem to be going through an employee exchange. The nurse [name removed] is amazing, but she floats through other facilities run by them. She pops in every so often yet she knows each of the patients very well. The Executive Director and sales person are changing, and we're sad to see Ray in sales go - he was a big part of the reason we went here. Vivian, who runs the activities is top notch. I rate her 5/5. She works with the residents so well. This isn't a change we ever thought about making but ended up needing to, and I'm happy that my loved one actually enjoys it.

August 8, 2022Thank you for your feedback. We understand the challenges of changing staff for your loved one. We continue to seek qualified caring staff to be a part of our community and optimistic the new leadership will provide exceptional care and help the residents and families THRIVE.
First impression was great, when we met with the nurse that overlooks this community she really helped our loved one get moved in and out of the hospital she was at which was a nightmare. [name removed] was able to help get our loved one set up on the right medicine and we were just very impressed with all of her attention to detail and how extremely helpful she has been. We have also been very impressed with how genuine the staff are towards the residents, they really do treat them great. They have a lot of neat activities, they have a wine down night where they bring in musical entertainment and they just have a ball. It really is a community type of environment and it is a little cheaper then some other surrounding communities.

July 28, 2022Thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive feedback with us. We are happy that your loved one has found a home here at our community. We aim to provide high quality care and activities for our residents.
The community is very conscience about COVID. The staff are good to work with. Visits to see family are limited due to the pandemic. I'm not sure if they have an activities director to assist the residents with activities currently.

We toured this community and it was a very nice facility. The staff was very nice and gave us a lot of detailed information. The community just didn't fit our needs at the time.

A Place for Mom has scored Beehive Homes of Stockbridge 6.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
