Beehive Homes is such a great place because it is a small nursing home community. Not that many residents. Because a doctor owns and runs the facility, there is quick turnaround for things such as flu symptoms and urinary tract symptoms. Very clean, and my mother-in-law seems to enjoy the meals.

Our family had an in person tour and it was just a strange tour it was just an odd property, it wasn't going to fit our needs
Beehive Homes of Lafayette is very good. It's a small community, and the staff is all committed to making everyone feel comfortable. They do an excellent job and are very loving, patient, and kind to both the residents and the families. They make the residents feel like family as best they can. It's pretty awesome how much they go the extra mile. They were truly a godsend for me and my family.

Our family had an in person tour and we honestly liked Beehive homes the best out of the other two communities we looked at. Everything was smaller which we liked, but our loved one just liked another community slightly better.
my husband was onlythere 72 days , he was not cared for properly. I paid them 14,410.00 dollars in that time. They did not take care to see he was bathed , I went to or three times a week to help him shower and shave. there was always an excuse why he wasnt taken care of. Iwent in on a Sunday afternoon and the help was watching porn on the big T.V. with the patients watching. Very embarrassing. the food was not good. mostly carbs. ie mac and cheese, rice. they had chocolate cake for dessert one day so thin a slice you could see through it. Often when I went in he was soaked with pee and had dirty clothes on. there was no nurse on staff to administer meds. I have moved him to Bickford of Lafayette . At Bee Hive there were no activities. I paid them 2000. deposit and was told this is not refundable.

My Mom has been living at BeeHive Homes of Lafayette for 3 months. It's a home. It feels like a home. Mom can decide when to return to her room whenever she wants but she increasing enjoys spending time in the common areas. She has made friends. The staff are attentive and kind. The owner, director, and house manager are all responsive, responsible and kind. This place is a hidden gem. I could no longer care for Mom at home. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found it.

This place was nothing but kind, considerate, and understanding. They treated my Mom well in the final weeks of her life. She enjoyed the place and she thrived while living there. All of the people were very nice and a few of the aids even knew my Mom from other assisted living facilities. She was surrounded by familiar faces and felt very comfortable. The staff was nothing but the best I could hope for during her final days. The food was good, it was a little bland, but that’s to be expected. The facility was brand new and beautifully clean, they kept it in great shape while she was there. I highly recommend this place.

A Place for Mom has scored Beehive Homes of Lafayette Memory Care 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
