The nurses and doctor are all very caring. Spent 3 weeks here and they provided very good service. The meals were good too.

No rating from me. This was an awful experience regarding Rehab care for my needed rehab. Once arrived no one greeted me upon arrival the driver got me settled from the 3rd party transport team. It was 3 hours before anyone entered my room. The bed was broken would not move in positioning, the toilet seat was broken shower was disgusting. I was scared between random folks that lived there trying to enter my room and shared bathroom and all the hollering. I arrived from the hospital from major back surgery I was in a lot of pain. They did not have my meds for 14 hours, this made the pain in bearable. No one could do anything to get my meds faster. They were not prepared for me and made me miserable because of it. The facility was not clean. Example the pillow they had me using was a former residents pillow with the patients name printed on the pillow. Seemed to be a lot of conversations between staff and no care for patients. No one showed a warm friendly welcome Or care that I was there. This was my first visit to a PT rehab facility I was scared and did not know what to expect. There is no separate areas for the nursing home residents and the rehab patients.

This place is exactly as you read. It is a pure "smoke and mirrors" operation. They are way understaffed, and the administrative staff and leadership or nowhere to be found. Any person in a supervisor role will avoid you and any patient with issues. Majority of their income is paid via Medicare and it obvious they are a profit only focused business. Medicare has been notified along with DADS, with documentation, pictures and video of multiple patients care and treatment.

I visit multiple facilities, multiple times a day. This one looks nice and is generally clean. However the staff, who are supposed to be medical professionals, will wait for hours for a private ambulance service as opposed to dialing 911 to avoid reporting to the state when an emergency arises. The funny thing is, these emergencies get reported to the state regardless, but these facilities are under the outdated belief that as long as they don't dial 911 they are in the clear.

Response from Baybrooke Village Care & Rehab Center
May 3, 2019We appreciate your feedback, Anon. At Baybrooke Village, we strive to deliver quality healthcare services. We will address this issue and make the proper changes to prevent difficulties in the future.
Half a star is being kind. I wouldn't board my pets at this facility! The most unresponsive staff I've ever experienced. Lie after lie on how you or your family member will be treated. All equipment is beyond worn out. Linens are non existent the majority of the time. Cleanliness of the facility is reprehensible. Cleaning equipment, floor mops and other equipment is worn out. Floor washing water buckets are never changed out, based on walking across tile floors and your shoes are sticking to the floor. They are without a doubt contracted with the lowest bidder for all of there outside services, ie Blood work and special needs such as Xrays and ultrasounds. There idea of a Stat need is someone may show up, today or tomorrow if your lucky. Results of Lab work are sketchy at best. The management team or lack there of requires complete replacement. Please do not subject a loved family member to the abhorrence of this facility.

February 26, 2019Hello, we’re extremely sorry to hear about your experience at Baybrooke Village. Our team is actively investigating this situation. It is our priority to discuss your concerns and come to a resolution. Please email us your contact information at [removed] and a facility/company representative will reach out to you shortly.
If I didn't have to leave a star, I wouldn't. RUN, don't walk, away from this facility as fast as you can. Nurse to patient ratio 1:60. Time it takes it find missing nurse, 45 minutes. Refusal to give records to a patient for transfer. Deplorable social services department. Broken wheelchairs, when they can find one. Call lights that go unanswered, always. An absent Administrator, who when he does call, implies that you're stupid, and is completely rude. Add one Father who is being pretty much held hostage because of noncompliance in a transfer to another facility, and you have this disgrace of a place. RUN!!!!
