The BayBerry Retirement Inn has been a GOD sent for my mother and my family. The Director ([name removed]) is very kind, pleasant and does an amazing job ensuring each resident is well taken care of. I can't say enough good things about the staff and how well they keep the place. Although my mother will never admit it, but she really likes it there. I give all of the categories 5 stars with the exception of the meals and dining, the food is not good. By the time they get the food to the table it's cold. And elderly people should not be eating hot dogs on a regular basis. What sticks out the most about Bayberry Retirement Inn is the size of the facility, it is small and that works well for a lot of people.

Great interaction for your loved one and the staff are really good with the residents. I feel that my loved one is taken good care of even though this is independent living. They have activities on the calendar like movie night, bingo and more for the residents to do.

Bayberry gets a ten out of five on everything! It is the most caring and nice community that I have ever seen. The staff are really great at what they do. The service offered, the quality of care, and even the price, are all really exceptional. I feel the price is still a good value, too. When we toured, my mom really liked this community, We were impressed with how nice everything and everyone was. We also liked its location. The food is really good and families are welcome to join the residents for meals at any time. Anything we need, we just call the staff and they take care of it. My mom says that we found the best place for her to live and she loves it there.

I was very happy with this community. I found the staff to be very helpful and attentive to my father's needs. The community was very clean inside and outside. They have excellent meals and a great variety. He was always active in the activities that were offered to him. I highly recommend this community to other families for great care and value for a loved one.

My dad had some minor surgery and stayed at the Bayberry for 2 weeks to get his strength back. It was very affordable and my family didn’t have to worry about him being alone at night. He really enjoyed all the attention and said he hopes to live there one day

A Place for Mom has scored Bayberry Retirement Inn 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
