The place is kept very clean, with a nice appearance. The staff is friendly; they make an effort to communicate with my father and with me when I come to visit. They are very cordial and they'll make sure to greet you. The only drawback I have would be the food, some of their menus I think are lacking. They do okay on breakfast and they seem to do fair on lunch, but the dinner can be a little light. I know they try to serve a light meal, but my dad has complained about it being very very light. My dad likes to eat vegetables, and they'll have them only once in a while. I don't know if they have a budget or if it's because there are more women than men residents. I've spoken to the director a bit about it and asked if they could cook a few more vegetables or make the last meal a bit more heavier because they do eat early. She, the director, said she'd look into it and try to see if it can be done. So I'm hopeful that it'll improve. I'm unsure if she makes the menu, but she does do the grocery shopping. When my dad moved in she said if there are any requests or special needs to let her know and that's what I've done. Again, that'd be my only drawback to the place and why I wouldn't give them a 5 out of 5. Bayberry Retirement Inn is one of the cleanest places I've been to and the help is very friendly. They know me, they'll greet me, and make an effort to get to know me and my dad. I can't complain about anything regarding the staff or the community itself, I think they do a great job there.... Bayberry Retirement Inn has been a great fit for my friend so far. We chose this community for its closeness and convenience. The facility itself is really nice. The staff are very friendly, and the meals are very good. My friend found the portion sizes to be too small, but when she mentioned her concerns to the director, she was more than willing to offer more food upon request. My friend was given one of the premium rooms here at Bayberry, and it is very nice. They do an excellent job keeping the community clean and tidy, and they offer a lot of activities for the residents. Bayberry is really a great place, and my friend is very happy here.

This was a nice tour. I liked the staff that was nice and answer the questions that we had. The community appeared to be clean and maintained. The community has a lot to offer. I would have liked to have moved into the community, but my insurance could not assist me. I am able to recommend this community to others wanting a nice community to call home.
