While our loved one was there, we were never allowed to eat a meal so we cannot comment based on our experience but according to our loved one she never complained. They were still in super covid lockdown mode so the activities were pretty limited - they were able to watch a movie in the movie theater or go down to their bar area and have a cocktail but that was pretty much it. We do wish they had more activities. Also they could improve on the additional care families pay for - if families chose to pay for additional care we feel the aids should provide it without issue. Sometimes when our loved one would need extra assistance they would complain or make them feel bad. We did like how close the community was for our family, it was very ideal.... Read more

I went to tour for a family member. The place is so nice and cozy. The apartments are a great size with lots of light. There were multiple residents who stopped us and were laughing and joking. The staff all greeted us and made us feel welcome. We are on the waitlist!!!

My wife is downstairs in rehab so I am staying in the assisted living while she is getting better. It is very comfortable. I have my wife, my sports, good food and nice people. I'm living the good life!

I have worked in this industry and in Wichita for many, many years. This building is beautiful. I am impressed with the therapy gym as it contains a full kitchen, washer/dryer and a full home bathroom for people to practice with. All the staff I interact with are extremely nice. I encourage everyone to check out this community.

I am impressed with how clean it is. I am a finicky eater but I got to try Salmon for the first time. It is exciting to try things that I have avoided food wise for some many years. Sure is a pretty community when you walk in the front door. Staff is prompt and responsive.

Before Azria Health took over I was contemplating moving my mother. In these last few months there have been positive changes and I am no longer looking to make any changes. She gets very good care and everyone is so nice.

I was very leery about moving into an assisted living. My fears were quickly put to ease. The staff are friendly and help me with what I need. I have made friends. It's a great place. I should have done this sooner.

As a registered nurse I continue to hear multiple accounts of patients getting terrible care here. I would never recommend any patient to go here. I was not aware hospice was sending my grandfather here or I would not have allowed it to happen. He was left in bed the entire 5 days of respite care. He lost 10 pounds in 5 days. He came home not able to walk or bear weight when he was walking with a walker before he went here. He also came home dehydrated. Very poor care!!!

A Place for Mom has scored Azria Health Wichita 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
