Autumn Cove

This community has been great and has really helped my loved one. At first it was hard settling in to a new state but once he settled in things have been great for my loved one. Nothing has been swept over and they pay close attention to everything. If you go online you are able to see everything that they are doing. For Easter they had a bunny come in, they do arts and crafts with the kids and play games to keep the residents stimulated and busy in the community. They have a senior center down the street where the residents can go to to play games and eat. They also lined up all the tables so that everyone can talk together and they are all close with one another. The place smelled wonderful and the people were welcoming to my loved one. They came in and re carpeted my loved ones area also and it was nice to get a new room freshly done. We also did not have a chair right away and they loaned me a chair that they had and even loaned a dresser to my loved one. They went above and beyond trying to make me feel comfortable and any concerns I take straight to them and they take care of it.

We chose Autumn Cove because they had a maximum of 16-18 residents, so it was a lot smaller facility and more of an intimate setting. Everybody knows who everybody is rather than being just a number. The room sizes here were medium size, not excessively big but not too small. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

Absolutely atrocious and fragmented admission planning and shifting blame from the owner. I spent 6 weeks planning a move for my elderly parent, communicating care needs, supplying discharge records, just to move my parent and then to be told they could not keep her at the facility. The aides are caring and helpful but the ownership and administration very disorganized. No family should go through that.

I feel that they made my dad feel like he was family and I felt like family when I went to visit him there. The took incredible care of my dad. The did a great job with him. The offered very well balanced meals. I chose this community after visiting four because something kept drawing me back to this community. I really connected with the administrator there. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

This is truly a home away from home. My Father loves it. He states the meals are great, and they are home cooked meals. They really take the time to make sure it is good food, and good healthy wise as well. Mary the Administrator takes the time to find the right fit for each resident, and she is the first to help you find the right fit somewhere else if not here. She has the passion for the Elderly and I see it every time I go see my Dad. She has a positive staff, they pamper and take care of the people who live there like they are family. I cannot imagine anywhere else for my parent, it was truly a blessing to find this place. I go home at night knowing he is safe, loved and cared for.

I could never say enough great things about this place and everything they have done for my dad. They went above and beyond to accommodate his needs while he was in there care. They even went out of there way for myself and the family when we had stayed overnight with my dad. They made sure we where comfortable and even offered us meals with the residents. The place was so clean I could smell the freshness of the cleaner that the housekeeping team used. All i can say is you defiantly get what you pay for and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for the best.

My mother is doing great since her move to this home. The administrator,[Removed], is wonderful. She is very proactive and gets things done. The place is clean and maintained well, they do laundry every day to make sure there are no smells. They have many activities like bingo, singing, and they even have a beautician. It has truly been a positive experience.

My mother is at Autumn Cove and doing alright. It is pretty clean, the best they can keep it I suppose. For me it was about convenience and it is close by so I am able to visit often. My mother is bedridden and unable to participate in any activities. She does not like the food, but she doesn't like any food, she is a picky eater. I would say the food is decent.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a nice looking place, and the staff all seemed friendly and professional. This is definitely somewhere we would have considered as an option.

This is part of Bee Hive Idaho. My mother is there. I live in a different state than my mother but so far, everything seems to be going just fine. They play games like rummy and dominoes. It's been a little difficult for us to understand how the whole thing works. There are 6 of us kids and only one lives in Idaho so we're getting a lot of second hand information which isn't the community's fault.
