Nice facility. Staff tries very hard and does very well. Meals can be spotty in terms of value. They often have personnel shortages in dining room but try very hard to minimize any negative impact on residents. Residents are all elderly and many have problems with getting around. They have many activities some of which are innovative. Management is very involved in daily activities and quick to address any issues. All in all a caring place, that seems to be reasonably priced and well managed. They do have a “small” memory care unit but their main focus is assisted living units with only minor medical care.... The staff is very responsive. Housekeeping is great. Whenever we go there, everything is neat and clean. The facility is on top of things and communicates well with the family. They were very helpful during the move in process and also when we changed rooms a few months ago. The meals have been of high quality. I would highly recommend Atria Merrimack Place.

Care for my mom at has been excellent! She resides in the memory care unit and has dimentia along with mobility challenges. The team at atria has treated Mom with the utmost care and compassion for Moms needs and has supported our family to work through obstacles with resolutions to help Mom navigate through her daily life as a resident. They provide daily physical and cognitive activities to keep her engaged and stimulated which are so important for people living with dimentia, plus they have a lot of fun doing them! We are grateful to have Mom in a place we know she is safe and well looked after. I would highly recommend Atria Merrimack place. We worked closely with [name removed] as we began our search for a place for Mom and he went above and beyond! Everyone from the office level to the nursing/anids are amazing and the facilities are impeccable!

Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful. They were available to answer every question that we had and were super accommodating. Everyone - director, sales, business, wait staff, maintenance, front desk, and aides! The place is beautiful and feels like an apartment, not a nursing home. My parents were welcomed so warmly on move in day. Staff treats family members as part of the community. Thankful, that my parents have funds to afford this wonderful place!

My mother loves the place. She is very happy. A month after my parents moved in, my father passed and it was very difficult for her but the employees and residents were so supportive and she has just thrived. Best decision we made!

My experience at Atria seems to be nothing but a positive one. Staff is helpful. I recognize like they are many other residential facilities, having concerns over staffing problems. Staff has been nothing but helpful, responsive. Food has been quite excellent compared to my previous home.

1. Just because you have Long Term Care Insurance don't assume you you will be accepted for its benefits. 2. In my case it feels like I am living in a hotel. 3. Try to talk with as many staff members and other residents before making a decision. 4. Eat one of their meals.

The worst they will tell you how they will bring you to Dr appt.'s but don't tell you only 10 mile radius and that they can only take you 2 days a week. The food is the worst. My family member has been living there for 2 months and still hasn't been able to get any physical therapy. They will tell you that they will do a lot of things for you which they will for an additional charge. Please do not put you family member here because it is the worst!

The staff is wonderful, supportive and caring. Housekeeping is also good. The food could use improvement. We picked this community because, of the friendliness of everyone, and the staff seemed to really care. The place is amazing. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

It was complicated getting in, but not that difficult. The people were very helpful, it went pretty smoothly. It's expensive, but they all are, so that's really not a negative. The staff there were very helpful and everyone was friendly; it couldn't be better service.

The Atria Merrimack Place is a very clean community with very friendly staff - but they could work on improving their communication. However we do think the issue with communication has to do with current problems and post covid which those things are out of their control so they are trying their best.
We had a good tour experience with Atria Merrimack Place. Due to covid restrictions, we had to do the tour virtually so it was a little harder to get a good feel for what the facility was like. The location was also further for our family and we wanted to be able to visit often.

August 10, 2022Hello, It was our pleasure to show your family our community Thank you for your support and understanding of our safety protocols. Our residents and staff are what matters most to us. Thank you for sharing your experience.
The staff listen to your feedback and act on it. They take very good care of my parents. The facility is great and very easy for the residents to move around. They have a gym on site, as well as a library and a beauty shop. They have activities constantly - movies, card games, puzzles, etc. There's always something going on, and they knock on people's doors and invite them to join in.

August 10, 2022Thank you for sharing your concerns. It’s unfortunate that your brief experience with us did not reflect our commitment to being a great place to live. If you'd like to personally speak further, please don't hesitate to contact us at customerservice@atriaseniorliving.com, and I will put you contact with the appropriate person.
This has been a very positive, informative, and transparent experience. They have been responsible, knowledgeable, and professional during the process. The communication could be more timely to the family about our answers to our questions. My loved one in general enjoys the food for the most part. The community does offer laundry service. The community offers medication management, and bathing assistance as some care types.

We chose Atria Merrimack Place because of the overall appearance of the facility and they seemed to offer more and have more flexibility as well. There are difficulties dealing with covid outbreaks, so at times that makes things hard but they have done a really good job with it. The staff have all been super helpful and friendly. I would tell others to make a personal connection with the people in charge and it will be easier to get what you are looking for.
