The rehab is good. The person who does the rehab and is the best at communicating with us. One nurses’ aide is very helpful with my mother. The quality of service has gone down from the last time she was in there. The friendliness needs improvement. They keep it clean. She was not a meat eater and she is mostly a vegetarian eater. They kept giving her meat.

It was very clean. Even the bathrooms were clean. I found it very austere though. It was very clean and I had no other complaints, but my sister needs more attention. They just had an attitude. The white haired women at the front desk, was very lovely and very nice. The other staff at the desk were not friendly at all to me. The aides were very cold.

They are on top of it! They answer the questions and provide a daily report. I think it is excellent. The nursing care is definitely great. One of the day shift nurses and the lady in rehab - they are special! They are very clean. Mom is picky but the presentation of the meals is good.

The rehab therapy is very good. It is kind of old looking and needs work but it is clean, just not pretty. I bring her food every day.

I'd recommend Ashbrook. They do things in a reasonable amount of time.

They are very friendly. So far she my mom is making progress in rehab. The nursing care is lacking though. Mistakes were made when brought her there. It has ironed out somewhat, and got better for a while but it's slipping again. There are some good staff and some bad ones. The food is awful and I bring her food.

Overall the nursing care is pretty good. The majority of the staff are friendly. I don't get any answers from anyone though. They have dumb answers or ignore you. The other day she was to have therapy and didn't have it and did not tell why. Then she had it 3 times today. No schedule whatsoever.

Unfortunately, my first post a few months ago, was short lived. I'm extremely disappointed with the care, or lack thereof my mom has received since admission two months ago. My mom has lost at least 30 lbs, very little therapy has been given for her extremities, they sent her to a dentist appointment, without an aide, then dropped her off at her previous nursing home. She wasn't wearing proper attire, for the inclement weather, nor was she fed before going to her appointment. It took at least 6 hours for transportation to pick her up from the former nursing home. She was cold, soiled, hungry and very scared. MY MOM'S DRESSER DRAWS ARE ALL BROKEN, UNABLE TO UTILIZE IT FOR IT'S PURPOSE. THEY (STAFF) HAVE BEEN INFORMED FROM DAY ONE; ALL FOODS MUST BE PUREED AND HAND FED AND THEY HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ASHBROOK REHABILITATION CENTER TO MYY WORST ENEMY. I'm looking into transferring her out immediately.

My loved one likes the place and the therapy. They do not baby him and all of the staff are great. He loves his room. He is a fussy eater and I make out the menu for the week. He likes the food. They call me all of the time.

They have been very proactive. They call me to set up meetings with the director, social worker and the nurse. They have come up with a plan for his care. They got my loved one there quickly. The all seem nice and care for him. It is an outdated facility but it is clean. I hear from the staff pretty often. He likes the meals, too.

My loved one thinks he is getting good therapy. One of the staff members was great with setting up transportation. I am the emergency contact and they should be contacting me with more with updates. One of the women at the front desk was not very nice.

They are nice and helpful. It took a lot of effort to make sure the nurses knew what he needed and I had to say this over and over to them. I like recreation director who has been very helpful to his needs. The facility is worn down and they are planning on updating it.

The nurses are wonderful. The therapists are fantastic but there's no consistent time. The wheelchair does not fit good in the bathroom to wash up and to use the toilet. It is hard to reach the faucet and soap. The meals are horrible. The social worker should improve on his communication and he never called.

They are very attentive and everyone is very nice. They show my loved one respect. She is doing quite well with the rehab therapy. All the staff are very nice. It is very clean and I noticed this when I first got here. The meals are okay. She goes to the dining area. They have called me at home to discuss things. They are all very good.

So far, the aides and nurses are wonderful! They're so informative. I know they are watching my mom and taking care of her. The administrators are very good. Everybody, the social worker, finance person, have been good... It's a new experience for me so I'm nervous but they've been good to help put me at ease. The head nurses are really, really great. Since the first week, they've responded to questions and requests I have asked for. They are doing everything I ask so that she's safe there and socially involved. She seems to have alternatives and enjoying the meals, some she doesn't like.

It seems pretty good. I think my loved one is doing better in rehab. The woman at the front desk is nice. Sometimes she presses the call button and it takes 20 minutes to come. The food is on time and warm. She has complained a lot about it though.

Ashbrook is much better for my loved one medically. I'm happy with attention they pay him just coming out of another facility that was not good for him. The doctor stays in good touch with me. The therapists are attentive to him and good. The meals are okay. It could be his taste buds.
