1. We were told that the staff would give him reminders to take his medicine. They did that for the first 3 months, and then all of a sudden, his med box was full all the time. I was told he had to be on med management to make sure he takes his meds, and that was an additional $[removed]/month. 2. The rent was raised significantly. 3. I was told he would have weekly cleaning, but his apartment was never dusted, there was mold around the feet of his shower chair, and his apartment always smelled awful. 4. The manager is rarely there when we go visit. It could be a coincidence, but I've gone at various times of the afternoon. 5. They took the little cans of pop out of the bistro area.

When it comes to the overall experience it was ineffective. They did not know their limitations with care for individuals that need extra assistance with memory issues. The assumption was always negative. We were there for a very short time and charged a great deal of $. A refund should have been granted

I was at Arlington Place of Red Oak for a short stay. In that amount of time, everything at this facility seemed fine in every aspect! I think that everything was great. I would recommend this facility to others.

Arbor terrace was nice, friendly and helpful staff as well, but unfortunately just not the right level of care needed. Had to move my parent into assisted living facility instead.. I would recommend for independent living.

A Place for Mom has scored Arlington Place of Red Oak 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
