NEVER place an alzheimers patient at Arborwood. If all your loved one needs is a roof over their heads, laundry services and meals provided, Arborwood may meet your needs. When my husband entered Arborwood, he was walking with no assistance, talking, feeding himself , able to bathe & dress himself. In less than 2 weeks, he became, incoherent, severely dehydrated, mal- nourished , unable to walk or stand, contracted a severe staff infection and a very serious kidney infection; all of this following 2 serious falls; both while being assisted by care givers, including management. Visited to consider this home. Seems like a good option for an affordable rate. Caring staff, nice size rooms. Small family atmosphere. Limited activities.
