April Bloom Assisted Living

Our family had an in person tour and even though we were only there for an hour or so, the owner, medical director and staff were all very helpful. The owner, medical director, and staff members on hand were all very helpful and positive about our family members suitability. The care appeared that it would be good during the visit. The meals sounded like it would be good and they would be able to provide for any special needs. The activities sounded like they would keep him busy with a variety of activities. The value was very reasonable. It had a family like setting for a person need memory care.

My loved one lost weight during the time my loved one was here. The staff were friendly. Other that the direct caregivers my loved one worker with I wasn't pleased with the management. The community charged a community fee. The contract was changed on me after reading the initial contract, and then readjusted it after complaints. The staff would not allow me full access to see my loved one. The caregivers were overworked and seemed short of staff in the community.

April Bloom has been a very good community so far for our loved one, she is absolutely getting the one on one care she needs. They workers are so personnel and are like family. With our loved ones health condition she is receiving better and more medical care and physical therapy there than at her previous medical rehab center. We have no complaints at all.

My 2 month stay at April Bloom has been just what is needed during my recovery from damaged nerves due to an arm injury. My stay was from May through June and I was able to relax and forget my cares while sitting on the front or back patio on the acre and a half property. Plenty of large shade trees and and wildlife. ?? Staff is kind, caring and attentive to all of your needs. You're not a resident here but you are family. [Name removed] will cater to all your culinary needs and if you're lucky maybe she'll fix her fall off the bone ribs. Some of the best I've ever had. Rides to shopping, the senior center, outings at Centennial Park and concerts at the lakefront are provided. My stay has been tremendous and for the those of you here in the Winter enjoy the fire in the large fireplace in the spacious living room while watching tv or listening to music on the computerized Alexa [Amazon Echo].

very quiet and safe location. Comfortable and safe home. both in and out side of home clean and comfortable. Appears like a personal own home rather then commercial facility. Very friendly and kind considerate staff. Very high value for different cultures. Very close to hospital if emergency occurs Very close to senior center Close to centennial lake. Close to all different medical services Has a state of art communication system My friend was in that place and we all were very happy to to keep her there after her rehab at nursing home. She continued he occupational therapy with great improvement . Doctor and nurse available Individualized activity Will highly recommend this place for those who look for effective and efficient short or long term care with homely environment.

Arrived [date removed] to an empty and extremely dirty facility. Contact persons claim it is under renovation and would be finished within two weeks - which would be outright impossible. Would give 0 stars if it were an option.
