I am an RN but needed help with my mother. I was a hospice patient manager and saw the facilities from the inside. There is no place in all of Dallas and Fort Worth area that provides patients the structured excellent care with love provided at Anchorway. The care is the closest thing to having private care at home. My mother was there for several years until her final home going. Unlike many homie like communities, she was able to get the care she needed until her home going. They gave me complete peace knowing the care she received.... Read more

The community was nice. The residents all share a bathroom and the community was an open concept. It didn't feel it would be the right fit for our loved one.

This is an unusual place that is very unlike the larger facilities in the city. Their aim is to treat everyone like family and to provide a home-like atmosphere. Everything is clean and the staff are all polite. The limit is 16 patients and there are a minimum of 2 caregivers on duty each shift. The location is rather remote and some portions of the road to get to this facility are narrow. A bed is provided for each person along with some furniture, but you may bring some of your own. They can provide 2 person assist. It has one all-inclusive cost and there is no community fee that is the same whether it is semi-private or private rooms.

ane Austen said it best in her quote stating,"To sit in the shade on a fine day, and look upon verdure, is the most perfect refreshment". That's exactly the ambiance that anchor way Senior Care gives when one pulls into the driveway. The tidy red brick house sits on a lush lawn and is surrounded by other houses allowing it to fit seamlessly into the neighborhood. The first comment made about the establishment went to the neatly manicured, emerald green lawn and arrangement of flowers in front that provide a beautiful scene for residents to enjoy. There are many rarities present in the Anchor Way Senior Care living home, for instance as you walk throughout the home to visit each room you are greeted by lively and colorfully painted walls. [Names removed] have implemented other amenities to help their residents such as walk-in bathrooms for easy access and matriculation as well as community living quarters. Residents are able to live among each other increasing the communal atmosphere. When walking through the house one can easily forget that it is an assisted living complex due to the upbeat nature of the residents as well as the staff. I can't help but rave about the direction Mrs. and Mr. [names removed] are taking assisted living care. Clean, fun, comfortable, personable........what can else can I say other than a home away from home. I'm elated to see a successful couple setting a new standard for how we care for our loved ones and simply winning at it! Be on the look out for the New Complex and opening spots to be a part of the Anchor Way Community!

My father was recently at this community for a short period of time and I have no complaints of how things went for him while he was there. The staff where very kind to him and made sure to accommodate his needs to the best of there ability. I liked the open floor plan they had and how pleasant the residents where to be around. Overall I was happy with my dads experience here and I would recommend it to anyone.

Things are going great. We love the ladies that take care of them. We even go see the ladies that are not related to us. The staff is great too. My kids even like going over there to talk to the ladies too!

Very happy with this facility, mom is tooken care of very well as the Asst. Manager goes beyond her means to care for residents! Owner is on site daily and really just feels like a home rather than a facility.

They are doing very well. The staff is very friendly. Of the few we looked at they were competitive with the pricing. They do bring in musical acts and things for entertainment, and the residents interact with eachother and socialize. There isn't anything I can think of that can be done better or improved. We are pretty happy with them.
