We moved our mother into Adult Family Lynden in July. The team is very warm, engaged and welcoming. She requires full assistance and not only receives the care required but the care team goes beyond that to involve her in activities, get her outdoors in their lovely gardens and grounds and encourage her to interact with other residents. We are very pleased with Among Friends Adult Family Home of Lynden.

This is a second home to many. The place is very clean.The staff is very competent,friendly and caring, there is also a very good relationship between the team and the residents,the place has a home like feeling. They are engaged in activities according to their capabilities internally and they visit senior centre on fridays which is a few blocks away for lunch and different entertainments. This is the best choice one can make.

This is a home with a difference, the staff practice comfort care, for them it is more of a calling than a job. There are lots of activities for the ones able to participate. The food is excellent they serve what the residents prefer, they are involved in decision making when it comes to meals ,this is the place to be, home away from home,

We thought this was going to be a good fit, but do to the level of care that was needed it turned out not to be. Everyone was very helpful but more staff would have been nice. Hospice was offered but in our opinion it would have been very difficult to obtain the level of care that would have been needed.
