Surrounded by wooded greenery and views of the large on-site pond, Allegro is a modern and luxurious senior living community that offers independent and assisted living. The community is located near the coastline in the suburb of St. Augustine, Florida, which is less than an hour southeast of Jacksonville.
A wide range of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartment options are offered. While living at Allegro, residents can live a carefree lifestyle with cleaning, laundry, and transportation services. Additionally, residents can feel at ease knowing quality care is provided by the on-site and on-call nursing staff. Depending on a their care needs, seniors can receive a variety of services, such as medication management, assistance with mobility, companionship, and assistance with activities of daily living.
To further assist residents, the community offers numerous amenities and activities. Featured within the community is a bar, a fitness center, a walking path, and a movie theater. Plus, residents can enjoy the restaurant-style dining room where up to three chef-prepared meals are served daily. Seniors can also opt to have their meals delivered to their apartment. The community felt old during the tour.
My mom moved in & it has totally gone down hill with turnover and the food & service has been terrible. I would never recommend it to anyone. Please stay away if you care about your loved ones.
