If your loved one has to be in assisted living, the main positive about AlfredHouse is that it has a very homey, family oriented feel to it. It does not feel like your typical institution. The home is in a very nice, safe neighborhood. There are definitely some staff members who are 5's and then are some who are not very nice. When we put my mom in here it seemed there was going to be more activities available and promoted. My mom does not do any of the activities because they do not encourage it. They have a patio and and enclosed space, I think on nice days it would be great if they could take all of the residents outside to get some fresh air. It would also be great if they could use the pet therapy people that we were told about in the beginning.... Read more
