This is a great place to live for all people 55 and older. They have all kinds of activities if you want to join in them. There's no pressure if you don't. They put a calendar out every month so you know what is coming up. There are pot luck dinners and brunches and cooking with a chef, exercise classes food truck on certain Fridays. There are plenty of things to do, the people are very friendly, the place is clean and quiet. We cook our own meals. It's more expensive than living at our own house, but we have no extra expenses except food. No taxes, upkeep, etc. It's worry free living, and we love it.

Management changed right after we moved in. I'm still waiting to see if that will be positive. The lady who helped us move in was wonderfully. She is no longer here.

I have lived at Alders just over a month. I am so pleased that I chose this friendly home. There are lots of activities. Got to ride on our new van for a ride to the movies! Thanks, [name removed]

I went with Alders because it was brand new and I really liked the location it was in. The overall atmosphere is great, it is a beautiful place. The grocery store is right next door which is very nice and convenient. They do have a variety of activities and things are picking up as more residents move in. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

A Place for Mom has scored Alders Magnolia 55 Active Adult Luxury Living 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
