Alcor Guest Home

Alcor Guest Home is great across the board! They really could not be better - it's the best facility around. My loved one feels safe and comfortable there.

They are wonderful I cannot say one bad thing about them. During covid we haven't had to worry about our mom at all. The house itself is beautiful, it is clean, and they make all home cooked meals. They are just wonderful and we could not ask for a better place, if I had to be put in a care facility this is where I would want to go. I would highly recommend them to others who are looking.

Despite it being COVID times at the moment, I did contact [name removed] (owner) and she was kind enough to show me a tour via zoom. She explained to me how the staff works with the clients in her facility. She seems to have a loving staff and a clean home. It seems to me the staff has a lot of experience caring for the clients. I know that our loved ones especially mine will be in good hands at this facility. I recommend this facility, in case you were looking for a new home for your loved one.

The cleanliness of this community would be a ten, it is just immaculate. There is never a mess or any fowl smells. Alcor is a perfect place for our loved one. They have fresh fruits, vegetables and the meals they provide are excellent. Even during this hard time the staff members have been wonderful and accommodating.

Our Mother spent 6 months being taken care of at Alcore Guest Home. I can't say enough good about the caretakers. We became family and that's just how they treat all of their patients. They celebrate holidays in a grand way. The house is kept so clean you won't believe it. Anytime my Mom wanted fresh fruit she always had a big choice right there on the counter. Fresh flowers adorned the kitchen and dining area. Our Mother's health has improved so much she is able to stay in one of the larger facilities which would offer more socializing. Our whole family is very thankful that Alcore Guest Home took such good care of our Mother. We will certainly miss them.

It is just fabulous, we're so lucky that found it because it turned out to be perfect. It's just the right size for her, and they're so compassionate and patient. It's small, 6 people total. They always have two caregivers on staff and often more. The food is good, my mother is fussy and she hasn't complained! They try to do a lot of different activities, but the resident's' favorite actvity is BINGO. They make sure that they walk every day and also take the time to make sure they look their best. The other thing that they do, that has been so fantastic, they celebrate the holidays. Their party was so good at Christmas when I went to take my mom to our family party, she didn't want to go! . This is so much better than her being in her own home with only her caregiver. It's more stimulating without being overwhelming.

They just did not have any activites at all, they say they do but they just play bingo on the table everyday. My mom is very active, very hands on, she loves to cook so that wasn't enough for her. The other residents there are very incapacitated but it was uber clean, they're like over uber clean. I know that they handle some very tough cases at alcor and they're doing the best they can but it wasn't the best fit for my mom .

new neighborhood. beautiful house with 6 residents and two staff. extremely clean and caring staff. small room, but adequate; small yard, but clean. Staff willing to take Mom out for longer walks.
