AgeCare Harmony Court Estate

Overall we have been very satisfied with AgeCare Harmony, but they do have room for improvement. The meals and dining could be a little bit better - we do understanding the issue surrounding inflation and there are good days and bad days but it needs to be a little more exciting. They are doing their best with what they have and that is similar to the activities. There can sometimes be limited, or a hit or miss - sometimes they do not seem that interesting so therefore there is not much participation. However based on the experience we have had so far with this community we would recommend them to other families looking for a place for themselves or their loved ones.

[name removed] was very accommodating. Our dearest friend lives here and I believe that she is comfortable and retains a degree of her former independence. Thank goodness everyone has been vaccinated. Thank you [name removed] for answering a few of my questions and making me feel as though our dear friend is being cared for.

I met with [name removed] at the appointed time. We sat in the common room just off the lobby entrance and discussed the needs of my client. Harmony Court is an older building, which has been updated and is very well kept. It has a nice garden area that residents can easily access. As we toured the facility, [name removed] stopped occasionally to speak with tenants that we encountered. To a person they were delighted to stop and chat with him, and he treated them warmly and with respect. While we were sitting in the lobby area we overheard one of the tenants say that she had lost her gloves. As we were touring we found 2 gloves in two different areas. [Name removed] noticed them and picked them up. At the end of the tour he returned them to the owner. Little thoughtful touches like this contribute to the homey atmosphere of a facility. The appointments throughout the complex and within the suites were clearly addressed with an eye to safety and accessibility. The bathrooms were roomy with grab bars in the tub/shower area. I did not notice any unpleasant odours and everything appeared to be clean and tidy.

Very nice facility, however I think my mom will need more of a care facility at this point. Dry kind tour rep!

We decided to go with Harmony Court, [name removed] was fantastic, the residents seemed to be very happy. The suites are a great size. Overall I am very happy we widened our search to include Burnaby and found Harmony

beautiful facility,staff seem very good,,no covered parking,no air conditioning,very bright which was great for me being blind in one eye,,,,still interested but looking at budget so want to see others

very satisfactory tour - [name removed] is an excellent professional at what he does for Harmony Court - but after a hard decision, I chose another location. But strongly recommend Age Care's Harmony Court, for price, facilities, inclusions, location, there excellent staff being their strongest feature. [name removed]

[Removed] was very informative and welcoming. Amenities are very good and the place is very clean and well kept. The only down side was that the studio suites that we saw were quite dark even with most of the lights on. Other than that, quite a lovely residence.

My mother has just relocated here about 2-weeks ago - initial impressions are VERY GOOD

The amenities and the variety of options for care that are offered are truly exceptional. A great deal of thought has been put in to make sure that every possible need is covered. Of particular note is the fact that assisted living care is also provided as needs increase. The location (busy area) left much to be desired, but the property management has made use of every opportunity to develop a mini park-like environment. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Residents seemed contented. The building was old and generally dark and the ceilings low which was disappointing. The suites were roomy - especially the deluxe suite which was amazingly large, with two full bathrooms. All were well-priced. The highest of praises to [Removed], who gave us an excellent tour.
