Affinity at Wells Branch

I came here looking for a new purpose. An insurance issue closed the wood shop.i talked mgmt in letting me clean it up. I converted it to an art studio.everyone is invited to create their own masterpiece. Love the new friends and smiles .. a new purpose

I don't agree with their policy around animals, but otherwise I'm completely satisfied. It's a nice place. But be sure to do some research on your service animals before you bring them into the complex. It's a nice, friendly place. It's quiet, and it suits my needs. And I love my apartment.

I think there is some room for improvement. But at the same time, I think the community is good overall. The residents are very warm, and there is a mixture of people there, some younger and some older. Their involvement in the different activities is good. Everybody is willing to help everybody, and that's a plus. It's a really quiet facility. The facility looks clean overall, but as far as trash/recycling elimination and maintenance, I have seen some roaches, which concerns me. But overall for the money, it's a good facility. And I've had the opportunity to visit with the manager and assistant manager, and they're both approachable and listen to any concerns.

This is a great place. The office staff are very friendly. Some of the activities offered include indoor swimming pool, outdoor horseshoes, bingo nights, pool table, game room, shuffle board, and more for the residents to choose from. There is even a pub and there is happy hours available.

The amenities here are wonderful, they have an indoor swimming pool, a pub, a game room, and a craft room with woodworking tools, and one with sewing equipment. The community is also pet-friendly. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

This is a great place to live. I enjoyed it. The room was very nice and spacious. We even had a view of South Austin. The community backed to a green belt and a trail. They had a pet friendly area. They even had a great outodoors area and a bbq area.

I've lived at Affinity-Wells Branch for two years+. It is a very nice place to live. I especially like having all bills paid, DirecTV and internet provided as part of lease price, and the various community rooms (family dining room which can be reserved for personal group activities, craft room for sewing and other hobbies, theater for watching group interests, such as sports games, movies, Derby horse races, etc.; lobby with much space for seating, visiting and sitting in front of the fire in the fireplace on cold winter evenings, visiting with other residents; plus the heated saltwater pool, cooking area with grill and smoker and firepit). I've had no problems with management although their response to reported problems is usually slow to resolve and having only two maintenance persons means slow response to maintenance issues. This is probably similar in other properties with over 100 residents as one must "get in line" for resolution of maintenance issues. In addition I like having a garage to protect my car. I enjoy living here as most residents are very nice and friendly. It fits my needs and I have signed for two more years living here.

Real nice has all the amenities including a pool. No food service but this allows a lower rice.. No month-to-month rent, only 6-12 month lease, Does offer one month free for 12 month lease. One of most affordable option.

I'am very pleased with my move to this community. Everything has worked out very well for me in this community. This is a very nice community with a great staff. All the staff has been wonderful to work with. Everyone from the maintenance men to the cleaning lady are very kind, and friendly. The ground, and facility are very well-kept. I'am enjoying my time in this community, and I would recommend it.

Affinity at Wells Branch is a beautiful all inclusive senior community. It is a wonderful choice for independent active seniors. There are some residents here that have caregivers that also enjoy everything this community has to offer. They offer two housekeepers, five days a week. They have a saltwater pool and hot tub with locker rooms to shower there. Also on site is a theatre, library and computer center. Upstairs is a craft room and game room to play dominoes, cards, and games. They have a family dining room and a pub where they serve beer and wine every Thursday. A lot of the activities are led by the residents for group activities like walking, bike riding, and pool exercise. There is a community garden if you wish to cultivate your own plot. My apartment is like a hotel, my door opens into the hallway and I have a nice patio that has a place for storage. This place is also pet-friendly, and grandkids are welcome to come and visit. This was definitely a perfect fit for me!
