The staff is accommodating but not overly friendly with residents. Perhaps that is on purpose, I don't know. The facility really needs a public restroom on the floor where all the activities take place. Residents have to go to first floor or their apartments to use the restroom. There and one and two bedroom apartments as well as studio. I came from a one bed with bath and a half--725 square feet at $[removed] per month in Aurora, CO to this one bedroom 611 square feet at $[removed] and had to rent a storage closet at $[removed] per month until I could get rid of some things. Pretty pricey! I've seen several of the 2- bedroom apartments and they are very nice, but none were available when I moved here.... Read more

We love it here! It's a friendly place with lots of activities. There is lots of staff interaction. The amenities are really great. Some things I find especially cool - we have a pub, a family dining room that you can reserve, a dog washing station, a salt water pool, a woodworking area, craft rooms, card rooms. It's just a beautiful place. We did a lot of shopping around, and this is a good value.

The place I moved from in Aurora was a similar facility--lower cost, more services and very friendly! I was very involved over the year I lived there. Since I have only been here a couple of months I may be expecting too much; but I am trying the make an effort to get involved and meet people. I know it will come

I really like it here. The staff are really good. They're friendly, they're just on top of things, and they're very responsive. Affinity is pretty much what they say they are, an over 55 apartment complex, and they do offer activities, so it's a fair deal for your money. They have a pool and all that kind of stuff.

the community is nice, but the individual needs to be willing to engage and participate to get the most out of the community. I would like to see a little more lively engagement. there needs to be more energy and excitement promoting the activities and engaging the residence.

A Place for Mom has scored Affinity at Fort Collins 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
