I spent 24 hours in another facility before having the good luck to get a bed in Advanced Health Care, with great nurses and CAIs, not to mention goof food. I was there for three weeks and given the facility allows overnight stays by family it lessened my homesickness. I cannot recommend this facility higher. The first facility I was at for 24 hours was like a horror movie. Stay away from [facility removed]. AWFUL.... Read more

A relative had been here before and she was extremely happy with the care, so mom chose to come here for Rehab after having been in the hospital. Daily therapy sessions times were listed her daily on her board, but many days she was either forgotten or other issues occurred, she sat there waiting. No body bothered to give here an explanation. Long story short, she did NOT receive enough therapy before being discharged. Now for the care she received! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The daytime care was great & so were the Dr's. However, the nights & weekend staff needs to be replaced. Staff ignored the call light, and went as far as telling here to just soil herself. It was obvious employees were disgruntled and took their frustration's out on the patients. Staff were often seen in the hallway in a huddle while patients waited. These issues were reported to administration, hopefully they were proactive and are correcting these issues. She liked the food, though!

A Place for Mom has scored Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
